  1. Who's left? Brady?
  2. I clocked it at 5.32 hangtime
  3. Baker's arm is very underrated. I'd say he has well above average arm strength.
  4. Well the argument for Araiza being a perfect fit for us was that it's not too often we would have been punting from midfield because of how good our offense is. We would be going for it on 4th and manageable quite a bit. So the rare occasion we go three and out have to punt from inside our 35 would be perfect for Araiza's big leg. Thank God!
  5. That's a possibility. One of the biggest failures in all of this is how SDSU and SDPD have handled these allegations and this case from the get go. How does a case filled with such disgusting alleged details drag on so slowly and under the weeds? Seems much higher priority and urgency should have been put on the case. They just let it fester.
  6. Well, it's at least well documented that Bill Belicheck has no soul. So that in it's self helps a great deal in him being able to tune out outside distractions. McDermott is cut from a different cloth than Bill. I couldn't ever imagine Bill showing the emotions that McDermott did in a press conference like the one last night.
  7. Somebody is about to win the punter lottery. It will be a big swing of emptions for them. Lose their job and get cut then approximately 90 minutes later find out you are being signed by a Super Bowl favorite and better yet, you'll barely have to see the field. 8. 100% A lot of folks yesterday were chiming in about how you have to be on the players side. Wait for the legal process to play out, innocent until proven guilty. And how just because he's a rookie punter who has been on the team for a little over three months doesn't mean he deserves any less treatment than our $258 million QB who has meant so much for the Buffalo community and fan base over the last FIVE years. I think for those same posters reality might be starting to set in after McDermott's press conference. Anyone who watched it could tell it was damn near killing McDermott. For McDermott's health, Araiza has to go.
  9. Actually they won't have to answer any of those questions. The problem goes away as soon as they release Araiza. They'll have one press conference after the release where McDermott basically gives all the same answers he did today and then that will be it. He will say: "I'm not going to get into what we knew and when. I'll just say some new information came up recently (which he already admitted today). And in light of that new information, as an organization we have decided it is best to move on from Matt. And we are going to leave it at that." Case closed. Time to get ready for the Rams.
  10. Or 1922 or 1822 or basically since forever.
  11. Agreed. And I don't think it was just Araiza. It would be wild for sure.
  12. Bingo. Beane either never relayed the full investigation findings to McDermott or worst yet never relayed any of the findings to McDermott. And the emotions that McDermott showed in the press conference and the fact that the one question he did not skirt and instead answered was one regarding finding out new information in the last 24hrs could point to riff where McDermott was left in the dark.
  13. I'm starting to think McDermott found out about these allegations 6pm last night. Same time we all did. Just because someone within the Bills organization was told about these allegation back in July doesn't mean that someone was necessarily McDermott. In fact I would doubt the chain of command would be for that information to got to McDermott first. It would probably got to Beane first I am thinking, Then it is up to Beane on whether he shares it with McDermott or the Pegula's. Maybe Beane shares with the Pegula's and the three of them agree it's best to not share with McDermott or maybe not give McDermott all the details. It was interesting that McDermott said in his press conference today that there were definitely some new pieces of information that came out in the last 24hrs that he was not previously aware of.
  14. Wasn't it McDermott that made it clear he wasn't even going to talk about the game? That the circumstances regarding Araiza were more important and the only thing he would discuss.
  15. Agreed. People actually thought that? The guy has been on the team for a few months. On top of that, players these days understand the NFL is a BUSINESS. The situation sucks all around but at the end of the day the locker room and definitely coach McDermott based on his press conference will be much better off mentally if they part ways from Araiza. LOL. What the heck kind of trouble are you finding yourself in?
  16. Glad you had fun. I went to the 2009 Bills regular season game in Carolina. Bills won. I think Dick Jauron was fired a couple weeks later. Also wore a Bruce Smith jersey to that game. And you are correct. Bills fans always yell BRRUUUUCE! when they see it. I've been to about 6 or 7 road stadiums and the Carolina fans have been by far the tamest and quietest fans I've ever seen in person.
  17. That surprised me i figured they chose him because he did some back in High School or something. But now that I think about it, it seems nearly 100% of punters historically in the NFL are are white, or not black anyways. And also not 6'5" 300lbs. So I guess he was one of the few guys on the team that fit the physical profile of a punter. So the Bills were just racially and physically profiling when they asked Barkley to punt.
  18. Gained a lot of respect for McDermott. You can tell this is killing him. He's too good of a guy to handle something like this. The hammer has to come down from Beane or the Pegula's. And if doesn't happen soon McDermott's health both physically and mentally could be at risk. One thing I found interesting is he no commented nearly every question but when he was asked if any new details had emerged in the last 24hrs that he was not aware of he answered that yes, there were some. It makes me wonder how much he knew. Is it possible Beane or whoever whom would have received the Araiza intel back in July would have left McDermott out of the loop in most or even all of the details? Yep. I'd be curious if he was never told all or any of the details regarding Araiza from whomever with the Bills originally received them back in July. We are all just assuming they must have made their way down to McDermott, but that's not necessarily the case.
  19. Not really. But he's catching everything. Tough catches.
  20. Nowhere else to put them with the Araiza thread currently locked up.
  21. He's always had one of the better arms in the league.
  22. Ooh. Is that a threat Mr. Bryant?
  23. Things will play out. Question is, is that with or without Ariza on the team? We will have an answer pretty soon. If he is still on the team come Monday I don't see them releasing him before the season.
  24. Eric Wood says Matt Barkley is taking some warm up punts from the 50 yard line.
