Josh has been money in drawing RTP calls. Seems like he is close to averaging one call per game. I'd be fine if his average goes down to one every other game. As long as he isn't actually getting hammered out there.

Still impressive. I would question that a ton have. Would think a good majority would have shot themselves in the foot picking Green Bay one out of the four years or even more likely the Chiefs more than once in the last four years. -

That's pretty wild actually. And makes me very worried. He's way over due to be wrong. So that's, Rams, Bucs, Chiefs and Patriots. No dark horses really but still tough to predict. -

Haha. Got the same jersey. But contemplating wearing something other than my Allen jersey. At what point do we start to look ridiculous when we are all wearing the exact same jersey? But my only other options are a blue Tyrod jersey and very old blue Bruce jersey. -

I'm seeing O/U of 2 passing for Allen. If it were 1.5 that would be a no brainer as well. I see 2+ TD for Bills listed at Diggs +8000 Allen +1000 Davis +1000 Knox +1400 I'd sprinkle a little on both Davis and Knox. Decent chance one of the two hits. -

Josh Allen is -105 for over 2TD's on Bovada. So he has to throw for 3TD's to win -105 He is currently listed at +1000 for 2 or more TD's which is rushing or receiving only. -

Yep. Goal with teasers is to tease through 3, 4 and 7. The three most common spreads when a game is final. And typically it is considered a poor choice to tease through zero which you would have to do if teasing the Bills. I've had comically bad luck with Super Teasers in the past when moving the line 13 points. Bovada currently lists the Bills at +550 so getting them at +650 was even better. Are you sure it is any 3TD's? Usually any TD's means rushing and receiving only. Passing TD's are typically counted separately. If it includes passing TD's then yes that is a steal. But i highly doubt it does. -

I wouldn't touch that one. Bills are going to try and not put Josh in harms way as much. They'll try and run it more with the backs closer to the goal line. I expect and hope his rushing numbers are down a lot this year. He should not be rushing for 700 yards on a season like last year. Moe like 400 -450. Take away most of the called runs. Not sure about straight up bet but +2.5 is the perfect number to tease. Tease up +1.5 to +2.5 and tease down -7.5 to -8.5 -

That's a great point. Hammer Allen and the over on all rushing props in the postseason especially. One thing that we don't know yet for this regular season is how much Allen will be coached not to run. It seems like there have been quotes from Beane suggesting that they aren't going to run Allen until later in the season. Does that mean we don't see any called QB runs Thursday night? How much does Allen try to protect himself when he does scramble? -

I was all over the Steelers getting 6 points in that one actually. To me that was close to a toss up game. That was one of my better calls last year so I disagree that you should avoid betting week 1 games. -
In a lot of ways this season isn't about making the playoffs. It's about getting that #1 seed. They were the favorite to get the #1 seed last year, not to start the season but I think after about week 5 or 6 they were the clear favorites. Even after losing to the Titans on MNF things were extremely favorable for the Bills and looked to set up nicely for the #1 seed down the stretch. Things unraveled in the middle of the season and they had to play on the road in the divisional round. The Bills are undefeated under McDermott in the post season at 3-0. But they are 0-4 on the road in the playoffs during his tenure. They need that #1 seed not just for homefield but to also avoid having to play potentially the #2 or #3 seed in the divisional round. Get the one seed and play the lowest possible seed in that divisional round. That doesn't always work out I know (Ravens 2019 and Titans 2021) but odds are at least better historically.

I don't really think a super bowl winning team puts much weight into that. Can't see that getting them all that fired up. At least no where near as fired up as a team that feels like they got screwed out of playing in the Super Bowl and possibly winning it all themselves. Plus, JA tends to be a beast on the road.

Offensively it all starts with JA17. Defensively, I think we had a good defense last year. I Just don't think we have a great defense like the numbers suggested. We played some bad QB's and bad offenses and that helped out the defensive rankings quite a bit. I expect the defense to take a step back this year. Not a huge surprise because they were ranked #1 last year I think in both yards and points. But they could take a bigger drop back then some realize. Still a good defense but maybe more around 10 or so in the rankings when it is all said and done.

Over/under 314.5 total yards seems extremely low for Allen. I’d take the over. if I do anything I would tease the rams to +8.5 but I am the type that often likes to bet against the Bills hoping to be wrong but if not at least I made a little money. I like the Bills to win but could be close. If it is a blow out the Bills will be the victors is how I see it. -
I just can’t go against Rogers against any of the NFC North teams.

Panthers are actually favorites in that one.

It’s not as big of an upset but I love the Raiders over chargers.

Buck and Aikman on MNF. That will take some getting used to.

Beyond Blue and Red - Gabe Davis: You can't Measure Heart
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to The Wiz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would 100% draft him in fantasy leagues before Diggs. Diggs has had 160 targets in each of the last two years while Davis has had 60 targets in each of the last two years while being buried on the depth chart for a good chunk of those two years. At a minimum Davis should double his target count to 120 this year. Diggs will likely drop down from 160 to 130 or so. -

I'm so excited for Gabe's season this year. Gonna be monster year and Beane's going to have to write a massive check. -
Tickets for the season opener have come down quite a bit if folks are still looking to buy or upgrade tickets. I purchased tickets about a month ago on SeatGeek and used the return feature this morning to upgrade to better tickets at a lower price. The return feature that Seat Geek offers is pretty cool. They put a credit (promo) in your account and the catch is you can only repurchase tickets that accept promo payments. But a quick search shows that about 90% or more of the tickets sold accept promo payments. Really makes it pretty risk free to purchase tickets way in advance and not have to worry about over paying as long as you know for sure you are going to the event. You are able to return tickets up to 3 days before the event.
