  1. not only that, it should probably be multiple games too. Of course I think the Chiefs play the Bucs soon though.
  2. So you are in the zero designed runs camp? Or just not in excess? Seems very nit picky too me. Just got to roll with it. Must of us are of the opinion you just got to let Allen be Allen because it's what make him so great. We will have to deal with the injuries when and not if they arise. Just hope they aren't serious and keep Allen out too long. And hope he can avoid them for another couple seasons.
  3. What is OP's point? They just want Allen to not run ever? Then he's not the best player in the game. I rather him be the best player in the game. Or are you just wanting to be super picky about when he runs? So you can nit pick and complain constantly. What is your point exactly? Of course QB's can get injured running, in the pocket or just slipping on a mat. Did OP take people seriously who said QB's who run don't get injured?
  4. Yeah. You better make sure you don't step on @FilthyBeast toes. That is his territory.
  5. Yeah. We're going to tear them a new one for sure.
  6. He's had much higher passer ratings that's for sure.
  7. This was just a fascinating game. I was one of the ones dogging Tua in the first half. Bottom line is Tua is not special but he does have enough skills that he can hurt you with the receivers he has. Waddle and Hill are probably the best WR tandem in the league. And that's probably not hyperbole. McDaniels is also getting good production from the running game. Not sure what to think of the Miami defense though either. It was a tell of two halves for them on that side of the ball.
  8. Tua is not special. But they have two receivers that very much are. McDaniels seems to have improved their run game too. Dolphins are going to be a problem regardless of which Tua shows up. Props to the Dolphins today. Didn't mind seeing them beat the Ravens one bit. Big game next week.
  9. Or the one who wins the game is what I am thinking.
  10. Ravens will probably sign Lamar to a new contract tomorrow.
  11. Kevin Harlan- "Here comes Tua". Words that should strike fear into anyone hoping the Dolphins win.
  12. That Dolphins defense is embarrassing. They fooled me into thinking they were a lot better this year. And how embarrassing for the Patriots offense and what they were unable to do last week.
  13. Probably not a hot take to say Miami actually has better offensive skill position players than the Bills. But they have a worst o-line and QB. And Bills probably better on defense at every unit.
  14. He wasn't snubbed. Rodgers had a 121 passer rating that year. Only one time in NFL history has a QB had a rating higher and that was Rodgers in 2011. Another year in which Rodgers won MVP. Every time a QB has posted a passer rating above 120, which has only happened three times in league history, they have won the MVP. Seven times previous to Henry's 2000 yard season a RB has gone over 2000 yards.. Three times the RB did not win league MVP, Jamal Lewis, Erik Dickerson and Chris Johnson. There was precedent for Henry to not win MVP despite a 2000 yard season. In a normal year Henry would have had a better chance at the MVP but Rodgers put up numbers that had only been done once before (by Rodgers himself) in league history that resulted in an MVP previously. While a 2000 yard rushing season is rare, a 120+ passer rating is actually rarer. And none of the above takes into account team win totals and playoff seeding which has always heavily factored into the MVP award. Both of these also favored Rodgers and the Packers in 2020 over Henry and the Titans.
  15. I'm just looking at Hotspur stadium. Someone on here said that is the most likely stadium design they will replicate.
  16. I agree. Don't like that either. I guess that will only really be a problem in September. Get's pretty cloudy and overcast most of the football season in Buffalo right?
  17. If you look at Hotspur stadium you'll see that somewhere around 80% of the seats are probably covered. Looks like pretty much everything above the lower bowl and maybe half or 3/4 of the lower bowl. With that said, that does not mean 80% of the seats will be protected from wind, rain and snow. With a giant opening above the field of play all those elements will still be blown into at least 50% of the seats if not an even greater percentage.
  18. Wait, is this true? So like SoFi stadium? Open air, out of the elements but still ambient temperature. That might be a good compromise. I was at SoFi last week in conditions that were probably about the warmest it will ever be at that stadium. No A/C in the stadium but honestly it wasn't that bad. It was warm but nothing you couldn't handle for three hours.
  19. The opposite. I think it means more and larger plastic bottles of Fireball.
  20. One of the takeaways from this game is all the breaks went the Chiefs way. I'm not saying that to say the Chargers were robbed or the Chiefs didn't deserve to win. Just pointing out how the luck of the ball bounced that night. To me this was a game where that luck bounced overwhelmingly to one team. It happens in the NFL we just don't see it all the time. 1. The Herbert pick six. You never factor in a pick six. A goal line INT? Sure, always possible. But a pick six? That's some hard luck. 2. Three Mahomes INT's that weren't. Any of the three could have been INT's as the flip of the coin goes. Chargers came up with none. So now they are basically -4 in the (+/-) turnover probability category and too make matters worst their one turnover went for six. Now I do seem to recall another Herbert pass that also could have been picked but wasn't in the second half too. But you get my point. 3. The o-line injuries. I believe the Chargers loss their Center and their RT somewhere in the second half. This was exactly when the Chiefs pass rush started to really get home to Herbert. I remember clearly thinking the Chargers line looked like the best in the league in the first half. Not so much in the second half. It was a great game. I just want the Bills to get the #1 seed so we aren't in a position where we potentially have to play both of them in the playoffs. Let them duke it out as the 2 and 3 seeds in the divisional.
  21. Everyone who went to the game last week will recall this is how SoFi stadium operates. Just walk through. No pat downs, no bag checks.
  22. You credit the Chiefs offense with the pick six? IMO the Chiefs will be fine, but thus far I would say the Chiefs offense being better or worse without Hills is a draw. They had a great game against the Cardinals and a below average game against the Chargers. Chargers may be a really good defense this year too early to tell. Cardinals might be a terrible defense this year, again too early to tell. Chargers were getting some pressure on Mahomes which forced some early and bad decision throws but luckily for the Chiefs the ball bounced the Chiefs way so to speak and they managed to dodge all three potential turnovers. My opinion, Chiefs will be fine offensively in the long run. But after just two games, you have a 44 point outing where the offense couldn't be stopped and a 20 point outing where the offense is very lucky it didn't turn the ball over multiple times. The one that happened in the first quarter was definitely a bad call. The WR initiated the contact. That is the phantom call everyone is referencing. Brown Eye, I think you are talking about the offsetting penalties INT. That was 100% pass interference and a good call. Basically, could have very easily been 3 Chief turnovers tonight. Instead there were zero. Football Gods backed the Chiefs last night. That's the way it goes sometimes.
  23. I thought I noticed the same thing. Everett had just made back to back receptions IIRC. One for a lot of YAC. Dude looked gas on that goal line play that ended in the pick 6. Kind of just stumbling off the line while the Chargers were going up tempo. I forget the exact stat but in 2020 or maybe the last two seasons no QB had converted more 3rd and 10+ with their legs than Mahomes. He'll take off an run. Herbert just doesn't do that.
