Week 6: Bills at CHIEFS 10/16 4:25pm
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The only team in that division that blows is the Broncos. Raiders are one of the best 1-4 teams you’ll ever see. They have likely dug themselves too deep of a hole to make the playoffs but they’ve been competitive in every game this year. They’ve even held 20 point and 17 point leads in games and somehow found a way to lose. -
Zero, I look forward to your postgame analysis. Like you I didn't see this coming at all. Raiders currently up 17-0 as I type. That said, I was high on the Raiders this year prior to this game despite their 1-3 start. They have had a pretty tough schedule and some hard luck but they have been in every game, even blowing out the Cardinals at one point. Thus far the Chiefs pass blocking has been terrible and the Chiefs don't seem to be making much of an effort at all to run the ball. And as I type this McKInnion rips a run for 20+ yards. Maybe the Chiefs should start running despite down 17 here.

The Minkah Theft - Question?
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Last Guy on the Bench's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very embarrassing for Minka Fitzpatrick if he had established enough control for possession to then have it ripped out of his grip by Davis. -
Christian McCaffrey rumors

That’s nice but I’d still not give up a late first round pick for a potential one-year rental. -

We have a good chance to get pick number 32 without McCaffrey. And the 32nd pick could be a nice interior lineman for the next 10 years. -

10/9/22 Gameday Steelers at Bills Pregame Thread
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
The line is 14 points so I would say people do not think they have a chance to hang with us. If the Steelers score more than 13 points today that would be very disappointing. Pickett should make some wow plays for the Steelers offense today but I expect just as many turnovers out of him as the number of positive wow plays. -
Week 5: Steelers at Bills 10/9 1pm

Saw that. But didn’t see any details on what that would mean. -
He looked good.

Al Michaels said sometimes a game is so bad it is good. I think he was actually right about this one. The deeper into the game and the more mistakes the Broncos kept making the more entertaining it became. It got really good when Broncos fans just started leaving the stadium before overtime.

Hopefully sooner for Denver's sake. He's going to lose every single player in that locker room.
-
I was certainly one of those fooled. Denver's defense has been really good still. They have that side of the ball covered. The thought was they just need good QB play to elevate the offense. I still thought Wilson was good. Now I am wondering if he was ever good at all or if Pete Carroll was just a genius in the way he used him. Wilson was lights out to start that 2020 season and then it all fell apart in the second half. So he's not that far removed from great QB play. Even last year he played pretty well just going off of passer rating. But i guess that was all just smoke and mirrors.

It's so fun watching this Denver coach fail. Dear lord is he horrible. No feel for the game situation. Everyone knew he should have called three straight runs at the end of regulation and kicked the FG. Broncos would have won. He tries to redeem himself in overtime by calling three straight runs but that was actually the time they should have mixed in a pass or two before 4th down to try and get the win rather than settle for a tie. Props too Gilmore. Great game for him. Easy defensive player of the week.

Not sure we have room. Rather save room for OBJ if the crap really hits the fan in the receiving core. Seems Shakir is set to take on a large role in the slot and can also fill in outside. He looks ready too. McKenzie will only be out a game at the most. Kumerow will be back this week or next. We really had too many WR's to begin with since Shakir was a healthy scratch when they were all healthy. Crowder going down could be a blessing in disguise if Shakir is as good as advertised in the pre-season and his limited snaps in the last game. And not sure what the time line is on a broken ankle but could Crowder be back for a playoff run if needed? We are still over three months away from the first playoff game.

Singletary was close to fumbling with seconds remaining
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I got to think intentionally slowing down and giving himself up may have also reduced his grip strength on the ball. The defender did get a direct shot on the ball and still because Singeltary had good form and two hands on it he had zero issues securing it again.
