Diggs vs. Chiefs/Spagnuolo Defense
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Sammy Watkins' Rib's topic in The Stadium Wall
13 TGTS 10 REC 148 YDS 1TD It was only a matter of time perhaps. And others mentioned, the Chiefs defense, specifically the secondary has a lot of new pieces from the previous two seasons. Best part as well is that Davis still got his deep TD as well. -
Bettor places $80,000 on Chiefs to beat Buffalo

I got my work cut out for me to get back to even after this L. But couldn't be happier. -
What do you mean? I'm really not sure we could have done much different? I'd expect Allen and the Bills to get us to a 62 yard attempt as well in the same situation with timeouts. I do think the smart play is to squib it. Ideally you will take off 4 seconds, 5 if you are really lucky and still have the opponent inside the 33 yard line. And if the player downs it immediately you should have them inside the 25.

If his betting patterns are anything like mine he is a well to do Bills fan that can't stomach a loss and is willing to pay a high price for a win. I am not well to do but I have been known to pay for W's. This would certainly qualify as one of those games. -
Herbert is a very confusing player. He doesn't use his legs enough. He's probably the best thrower of the football between he, Allen and Mahomes. But Allen and Mahomes separate themselves with what they do with their legs both scrambling behind the line of scrimmage and running for first downs. That said, he's viewed as having potential to be in the class of Allen and Mahomes (he'll never get there if he continues to refuse to use his legs) and for that reason I don't see the Chargers trading him for any deal involving only draft picks.

That begs the question what exactly is a GOAT team? I think we would have to define that first. 2007 Patriots obviously are one even without the title. Are the 85 Bears another? 1999 Rams? 1972 Dolphins? 2000 Ravens? I think there has to be a higher than normal level of regular season win dominance to qualify as a GOAT team. So that would eliminate teams like the 1999 Rams and 2000 Ravens. Really we are looking for 15-1 or now, 16-1 or better records as the first step of qualification.

We are starting to get a decent sample size now, 4 games since Diggs arrived in Buffalo in 2020. These are his numbers: 2020 Reg: 8 TGTS 6 REC 46 YDS 1 TD 2020 Post: 11 TGTS 6 REC 77 YDS 0 TD 2021 Reg: 5 TGTS 2 REC 59 TDS 0 TD 2021 Post: 6 TGTS 3 REC 7 YDS 0 TD 2PT Conversion REC Every game is under his per game average for receiving yards for that year, 95yds in 2020 and 72 yards in 2021. Despite the lack of production the Bills had plenty of offensive success in the two most recent games. It's probably only a matter of time before Diggs has a Diggs type game. 120 yards 9 receptions 1 TD. Thus far in 2022, through 5 games, Diggs has gone over 100 yards in 3 out of the 5 games. He's had at least 62 yards and 4 receptions in all five games. On a side note, Gabe Davis appears to have developed into one of the better deep threat receivers in the league. And the Chiefs defense just gave up 58yd and 48yd TD's to Devante Adams.

Ugly fumbles by Patrick Mahomes, pretty funny
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
House. LOL. Love it. One interesting thing I've notice so far through just 5 games is that Allen and Mahomes have both been sacked 8 times this year. Mahomes for 62 yards loss, Allen for only 39 yards loss. Remember when Allen used to take 20 yard sacks every other game? -
So You Wanna Be an NFL QB?

Kyler Murray's vantage point. -
Hopefully we won’t find out but it would be interesting to see how the odds change if the Chiefs win this weekend. Regardless of how either quarterback plays. I’m hoping for another 400+ total yard game from Allen. Really want to see him smash that record this year. Put up like 6200 total yards. If the bills win this weekend Allen probably does run away with the MVP. If the bills lose it could get really interesting going in two weeks 16 and 17 Between several different quarterbacks.
