Raiders at Bills 1990 AFC Championship Game
The BLUES Brothers replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall
Attended this game and lost my voice in the first half - This brings back the memories of elation that we were going to their very first Super Bowl! Need to close the deal next time! We had a great win against the Raiduhhs for opener when the Bills climbed out of 18-point hole, stun Raiders late. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to David Nelson with 14 seconds left to cap a wild back-and-forth fourth quarter and lead the Buffalo Bills to a 38-35 win over the Oakland Raiders 38-35 9/18 2011. Go Bills! -
Bills backers bar in Fort Lauderdale ?????????????????????
The BLUES Brothers replied to Leftyman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Enjoyed it a few years ago. You'll be with family there - Lot's of Bills jerseys and gear! It's a big place and the food was good, too! As i recall - you may have to park in an adjacent lot if it gets packed, but worth the walk. They ask Bills Trivia questions during the game - fun Buffalo Bills atmosphere for sure, especially being in south FL. -
He does a great job! I am one of those "daily listeners" he always thanks at the beginning of every show. Insightful as he knows his craft.

Buffalo loves familiarity - I wouldn't be or surprised -
Silly preseason thread…nickname for the Bills’ offense?
The BLUES Brothers replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
"The "K-Gun" offense is commonly thought to be named after quarterback Jim Kelly, but was actually named for Keith McKeller, a 6-foot-6-inch (1.98 m), 245-pound (111 kg) dual-threat tight end."... So NFL starts playing games in Europe and Google now shares players height and weight also in metric kg lol I like your "40" idea, even your 4-D (Josh see things in 3D +1) You know NBC cameras will zoom in on the 7 guys holding up that long sign. -
Late to the party - but my son surprised me to tix for him and i to see Styx at Artpark (outdoor venue in Lewiston, NY) and it was a great show! Taking the wife to see Peter Frampton at Turning Stone Casino (central NY) late July and making a weekend of it. Something about the energy of a live show makes it special

When the Bills were in the mediocre stages (around 2014), WGR was asking how will you know when the Bills are good again...i called in to say "when we get back to being on Prime Time Games". Grateful they are getting those opportunities, and now having a player grace the Madden cover is another awesome tribute to the team's hard work and focus. Go Bills!

Back in the early 90s - I had always wanted Buffalo to play San Fran in the Super Bowl. Talk about a back order -
You, Sir are the first to officially wish me (us) Merry Christmas! Would love to visit your beautiful country some day. By your name - I can tell (Bruce Smith reference) you have been a Bills fan for a while - How awesome a team from WNY can have fans from around the world! Merry Christmas to All and grateful to be waking up on Christmas morning with the Buffalo Bills as Champs of the AFC East!

Merry Christmas Italian Bills Mafia! Forza Buffalo!

Buon Natalie to the Bills Mafia by the Mediterranean! -
When they had the Celebrity Roast of Bruce Willis on The Comedy Channel - during his retort to roast back all the celebs - he went out of his way to say it is NOT a Christmas movie.

Also Greece NY here - not far from Van Putte Landscape. Go Bills! -
I was Beef on Weck but changed when I saw the team coming together in their Blue Jerseys - aka The Blues Brothers. Loved the movie and Actually saw Belushi and Akroyd as The Blues Brothers in Red Rocks Colorado when visiting family as a high schooler.

Met Darryl Talley at an Orlando golf course and as luck would have it - I still text him occasionally (yes he texts back lol). He told me cool stories and it made me respect him even more as a player and person. He really liked Coach Levy which was nice to hear. Saw Darryl again (and his wife) at a Buffalo Bills Alumni event before an opener a few years back. At the same event - a buddy and i sat at a table that Jeff Nixon and his wife asked if they could join...(of course!!) While they were there - over comes Andre Reed and his wife and Andre is right next to me - it was unreal. Later on at the same event met Jon Fina, Fred Smerlas, Mike Stratton, Lou Piccone and every one of them were very cool and personable. On the way home i told my buddy that invited me to the event that other than the birth of my children - it was THE greatest day of my life lol Also met Frank Reich and Steve Tasker at a charity golf event - got pictures with both and Tasker signed my Bills cap - the ink faded but not the memory. Go Bills!

Maybe the Cardinals think it's it's egg on their face if they trade a former 2nd round pick for a 6th or 7th round draft pick but you'd think the front office and the fans would want something for him. Do you think the Cardinals contact all 31 teams asking if they're interested in a trade for the guy?

I used to enjoy his program a lot - have several motivational books and they helped me through a growing time in my life. During a business trip in OH - he came to preach and during his preaching event they were promoting to sponsor a needy child in Africa. 5 years later my wife and I still support her and the money helps her and her family. Sure he is getting rich along the way - but he is spreading Christianity and l give him credit for that. Have you read any of his books? Can probably get one from the library if you don't want to spend. If really interested I can mail you one of mine. I can't make a video to his blinking lol can imagine the gunfire though ha ha but can tell you his words can be motivational. Go Bills!

AJ Epenesa Is really playing well
The BLUES Brothers replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
LOL! Chris was born in 1996 so just celebrated his 26th birthday. How old is your son? Chris grew up a Buffalo Bills fan because - well, his Dad and grandfather loves them. It is so great that since McDermott became Coach - he is able to experience great games and better teams to be excited about. He and his fiancé' were at the Monday night game and will be back there vs. Vikings. Go Bills! -

On Sunday 9/18 - it was my son's birthday and he lives in Amherst (by Buffalo) so we drove from Rochester to meet him at Bar Bills East Aurora to get their famous wings and Beef on Weck! We get there 15 minutes before they open and still needed to wait 45 minutes - so busy there! We get our table and as we are finishing .... Who walks in to get a table but The AJ Epensa! They had him wait outside until his table opened up - I asked hostess if she knew who that was and she said yes - they were getting him a table right away. On our way out - he was still waiting outside and we wished him "Good luck on the game tomorrow" and he smiled and said Thanks a lot! - cool guy. Big guy and glad he had a great game too! -
Bar Bills is our favorite.. Heading there from Rochester this Sunday for a birthday lunch for my son who moved to Buffalo/Amherst last year. They have great sauce and do a nice job on the dry rub wings, too.
