Logan Thomas’ Daughter RIP
The BLUES Brothers replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thoughts and Prayers for their whole family during this time of sorrow. -
I think the loss stings because it was so close and if we won - we'd be talking less about rebuilding and more about fine tuning - okay maybe not that far forward but it would have been a great road win. But do agree it can still be a good season to root for the Bills and will be at the game this weekend with my son and hope it is as much fun as the opener was -supposed to be just as warm if not warmer.

Well Said! Gives us more to learn and watch for this season. Keep Up the Great Work!

Opposing Team Coverage
The BLUES Brothers replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thank You Go Bills in Dallas for doing this! and Love the thought provoking quotes you have listed under your posts. Reminds me of a good one from a Business Acumen 20/20 book: "Attitude Determines Altitude" let's hope our Team has the right attitude this season. Go Bills! -

Joe Kelly, Jim's father, has passed away
The BLUES Brothers replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I heard that story as well by Tasker and I laughed too. Tasker also told of the time he saw Joe had the RV all packed to go to Jim's Hunting Camp and how happy and proud the Dad was to be spending time with his sons. Sounds like a great Dad and sure he will be missed by al that came to know and love him. RIP -

The BLUES Brothers replied to Spurna's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Initially Murphy said he was shocked and didn't see it coming. A caller said Boldin probably quit before the Bills cut him and Murphy said he didn't think the Bills were going to cut him - they wanted him play and his for leadership. The only spin I heard (and really not a "spin" was he stated the obvious that other current WR players will get more playing time which may be better for them but he didn't say if it would be better for the team - we will see. -

I know I'll be in the minority here but I listen to their show everyday. My favorite is on demand since no commercials - just content - but obviously no calling in that way. Certainly Murph is paid as his job to be upbeat about the team but he is a fan of the team, like us, and on air he was as shocked as we were with the Sammy trade. DJ doesn't rock the boat as much and has some interesting perspectives being a former player. As another poster said - everyday we are looking for info on our team and that show, and its guests, provide a 3 hour play every weekday. As for the spin - he will probably say he "was looking forward to seeing Boldin but if he doesn't want to be here - then why would you want him to stay". As for me personally - I wanted Boldin to want to be here - he did seem to be professional and that he would be great for locker room. Flame away but I might not be back to my favorite website here until later today. -
Upon review, I wish Sammy was still on the team...have his jersey his autographs and thought this was his breakout year. I also agree that TT likes to throw to his guys that he trusts and although Sammy will be missed - maybe its me but Taylor really seemed to get in sync with TE Clay. Very possibly the top Catches may not even be a WR --- Clay and McCoy could both be in top 3. May be in a different topic but wonder which shiny new WR will have the most catches and Rec yards for Bills?

Even Steve Tasker was saying its a good idea that has yet to be enacted....

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - The Brandon Beane Era Begins
The BLUES Brothers replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Invigorating Post! "Trusting the Process" is tough when losing a favorite WR - but I have "stepped back off the ledge" from yesterday's stunning trades and this well stated take has me feeling even better about it. Kudos- Very Well stated! -

MSG Series: Top Tens in Bills' History
The BLUES Brothers replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched and enjoyed the special. Great footage and interviews with players and coaches. WGR had a long discussion about it saying we all know who #1 is but who is #2 and when they showed Bennett and his accomplishments and Levy saying how he was the missing piece to the puzzle - I could see them naming him that high - he was so fast. -

I like that list. I was on Twitter when WGR had a vote for a few and the Hit heard round the world: Mike Stratton on Chargers star running back Keith Lincoln was also on there. However I was at both the 51-3 Victory (lost my voice in the first half) and the Comeback game (stayed for the whole thing (Thank You God) but voted for the Comeback Game since it gave us such a strong National Buzz. -
LeSean was interviewed on local stations and said he will have a lot more situations where he can run inside and pick his holes. He followed up by saying everyone thinks he like to run to the outside but that many of his long runs were up the middle. Gave praise to his Offensive Line and seemed genuinely excited about the potential to both run and catch the ball "like Arian Foster did" and who he has a lot of respect for... Said he asked Coach why he brought "Rico" (Dennison) here and he said he disguises so many plays from the same formation - Defenses will not know what play is being run... Getting McCoy (and Watkins, Clay) in open space could be Game Changers - Let's Do This Tyrod!

Wade Phillips: New book
The BLUES Brothers replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://www.wgr550.com/media/audio-channel/05-12-former-bills-head-coach-wade-phillips-john-murphy-showmp3 John Murphy interviewed him on WGR and its easy to root for that good ol' boy who is honoring his Dad. I saved the ticket from his inaugural game as Bills Coach - like it was said above - not flashy but Wade gets the NFL schemes and wow - we were so close that last year... -

RD6: PICK 195, TANNER VALLEJO (OLB), Boise State
The BLUES Brothers replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed - they may have wanted Safety Xavier Woods but picked up a few ahead of us. Hope they find a role for this guy to help us. Surprised for a draft so deep in TE and RB that we didn't get one. Must have higher hopes for Logan Thomas and RB Jonathon Williams
