  1. Imagine a world without hypothetical questions As a Bills Fan - I would say we had too many weapons to be contained. Happy Thanksgiving and Go Bills!
  2. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21507477/seattle-seahawks-waive-de-dwight-freeney http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21507824/new-england-patriots-cut-cassius-marsh-trading-september Thought a thread would be started - adding to get your input...and wonder if Coach, Frazier and Beane would be interested in them?
  3. This week - the KC play-by-play guys were on John Murphy Show and they said Ragland has an explosive side to him that has been getting better. They also said the obvious - that their Defensive scheme, same as Rex Ryan's, is what makes Ragland more valuable to them than the Bills. Truthfully I was excited when we drafted him and he had looked good when attending Training Camp.
  4. Heard his flight goes straight to New Jersey today to get to the Team so not as much time to learn like Deonte Thompson. Someone on radio commented if Benjamin plays Thursday- he may simply run simple routes but the Jets will have to account for him and that should lessen the "stacking of the box" to open up the Run game.
  5. Thank you Mr. Nucci - One of Life's mysteries solved Thanks to TSW Elders. Greatly Appreciate the reply and info. Go Bills!
  6. That was a good question/answer(s). My question is: Will Marcel Dareus count against the Comp Formula or not because Dareus was traded (as oppossed to went away like Gilmore). Sorry if this seems like a petty question since I am Not all about the Comp picks but curious if it will count or not. Thanks in advance guys.
  7. I agree with Nucci to offer a low draft pick. Can you imagine if in a few weeks we "could" have Mathews, PRYOR, Zay Jones, and in the wings D. Thompson/ROD STREATER and Charles Clay back at Tight End? That would likely cause Defenses to stay out of the box and open the Run Game....
  8. Thoughts and Prayers for their whole family during this time of sorrow.
  9. I think the loss stings because it was so close and if we won - we'd be talking less about rebuilding and more about fine tuning - okay maybe not that far forward but it would have been a great road win. But do agree it can still be a good season to root for the Bills and will be at the game this weekend with my son and hope it is as much fun as the opener was -supposed to be just as warm if not warmer.
  10. Well Said! Gives us more to learn and watch for this season. Keep Up the Great Work!
  11. Thank You Go Bills in Dallas for doing this! and Love the thought provoking quotes you have listed under your posts. Reminds me of a good one from a Business Acumen 20/20 book: "Attitude Determines Altitude" let's hope our Team has the right attitude this season. Go Bills!
  12. I had always wondered that - Thank you for the insight Kelly the Dog
  13. I wanted to see J Will stay because he flashed versatility in preseason and also so we'd feel less upset that other 5th round pick Gilislee is gone....read above JWIll is eligible for practice squad - didn't know that and why the delay to sign him?
  14. "....my super heroes were on the field" - Love It! Thanks for sharing - Go Bills!
  15. I heard that story as well by Tasker and I laughed too. Tasker also told of the time he saw Joe had the RV all packed to go to Jim's Hunting Camp and how happy and proud the Dad was to be spending time with his sons. Sounds like a great Dad and sure he will be missed by al that came to know and love him. RIP
  16. Initially Murphy said he was shocked and didn't see it coming. A caller said Boldin probably quit before the Bills cut him and Murphy said he didn't think the Bills were going to cut him - they wanted him play and his for leadership. The only spin I heard (and really not a "spin" was he stated the obvious that other current WR players will get more playing time which may be better for them but he didn't say if it would be better for the team - we will see.
  17. I know I'll be in the minority here but I listen to their show everyday. My favorite is on demand since no commercials - just content - but obviously no calling in that way. Certainly Murph is paid as his job to be upbeat about the team but he is a fan of the team, like us, and on air he was as shocked as we were with the Sammy trade. DJ doesn't rock the boat as much and has some interesting perspectives being a former player. As another poster said - everyday we are looking for info on our team and that show, and its guests, provide a 3 hour play every weekday. As for the spin - he will probably say he "was looking forward to seeing Boldin but if he doesn't want to be here - then why would you want him to stay". As for me personally - I wanted Boldin to want to be here - he did seem to be professional and that he would be great for locker room. Flame away but I might not be back to my favorite website here until later today.
  18. Upon review, I wish Sammy was still on the team...have his jersey his autographs and thought this was his breakout year. I also agree that TT likes to throw to his guys that he trusts and although Sammy will be missed - maybe its me but Taylor really seemed to get in sync with TE Clay. Very possibly the top Catches may not even be a WR --- Clay and McCoy could both be in top 3. May be in a different topic but wonder which shiny new WR will have the most catches and Rec yards for Bills?
  19. Even Steve Tasker was saying its a good idea that has yet to be enacted....
  20. It could have - We coulda/shoulda traded up just prior to Steelers pick when they grabbed Big Ben...Bills had said they had liked him. Good news is there could be several QBs of promise this year - IF they all declare
  21. Invigorating Post! "Trusting the Process" is tough when losing a favorite WR - but I have "stepped back off the ledge" from yesterday's stunning trades and this well stated take has me feeling even better about it. Kudos- Very Well stated!
  22. This afternoon - even Rodak of ESPN was talking about his great camp so far - hope he keeps it up!
  23. I watched and enjoyed the special. Great footage and interviews with players and coaches. WGR had a long discussion about it saying we all know who #1 is but who is #2 and when they showed Bennett and his accomplishments and Levy saying how he was the missing piece to the puzzle - I could see them naming him that high - he was so fast.
  24. I like that list. I was on Twitter when WGR had a vote for a few and the Hit heard round the world: Mike Stratton on Chargers star running back Keith Lincoln was also on there. However I was at both the 51-3 Victory (lost my voice in the first half) and the Comeback game (stayed for the whole thing (Thank You God) but voted for the Comeback Game since it gave us such a strong National Buzz.
