Who on TBD has been married the longest ?
The BLUES Brothers replied to LewPort71's topic in Off the Wall
They say the "50 year anniversary' will be a rare thing soon between unfortunate breakups and the new trend where kids are getting married later in life. For us 36 years this September. We met in college and dated long distance for 7 years until our wedding in her beautiful hometown of Saratoga NY. Then she moved to my less beautiful but active suburb here in Rochester, NY. I really lucked out. -
Computer antivirus software question
The BLUES Brothers replied to The BLUES Brothers's topic in Off the Wall
Thank you, TBD Fam! So very Grateful for all the wise input here! Will share this with family and friends, too! Go Bills! -
We ditched the old home Windows 10 desktop as it was time and just transferred the files before it went to a better place where the monitors never sleep. We upgraded to an HP all in one for our home computer. The HP with Windows 11 has a nicer monitor and much faster. It came with McAfee antivirus, but we used to use Norton, and have some time left on its subscription. Doing research is confusing since so many are sponsored, or the unsponsored reads say one is the winner, then another says the opposite... Any advice for which is the way to go between these 2 or is there another? Also aware there are free AV versions, but want to purchase one so it isn't a cost thing - more for ensuring security. Thank you in advance for any help and Go Bills!

Draft Success Measured by AV - Part V
The BLUES Brothers replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall
No kidding -I get super excited for the draft every year - but do not reflect as specifically as you have here. Thank you OP for this! Great to see the due diligence of the staff is trusting their own process, and hope they (and you with these great review posts) keep up the really great work. -

The Stadium Wall, Went to my First Game

You never forget your first home game, and glad it was a Big Win! Defense came to play, and 40 for Offense, to wrap up 2 seed makes it even more special -
Merry Christmas to all of you!
The BLUES Brothers replied to Don Otreply's topic in The Stadium Wall
This time of year i recall Eddie Murphy in Trading Places movie where he is on the train dressed up as an African Elder statesman: "Merry New Year!" to you and yours! By the way - wife and l came back from a work sponsored cruise and came down with Influenza A - do what you can to be safe and avoid this one - awful all around. -

From Buffalo Rumblings: "With Dodson now entering the waiver-wire protocol, any team can claim him, based on an assigned order. That includes his former employer in the Bills. For the first three weeks of this this season, the order was based on the 2024 NFL Draft and each team’s 2023 records. At this point in the season, the waiver-wire priority reflects only the 2024 records, which puts the Bills at 30th in the claim process. It’s unlikely that Buffalo is the only team interested in Dodson, with other notable parties such as the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers also decent candidates." i will keep checking to see if he slides to us - but being this good makes these waiver signing more difficult.

Always enjoyed his takes May he RIP

Our daughter got the wife and i tix to see Peter Frampton at Seneca Niagara Casino last weekend. He had to sit during the show due to disease affecting his leg muscles, but he and the band put on an excellent show - played and sounded awesome still after all these years

Offensive and Defensive Philosophical Alignment - Finally!
The BLUES Brothers replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall
It may have been Joe Marino (or one of the o,many ther Buffalo Bills shows i enjoy daily)...that said Damar Hamlin is playing well because he is doing what he is coached to do and very good at - "keeping everything in front of him" so he can make plays. -
You know you’re a fanatic bills fan when…
The BLUES Brothers replied to Bills!Win!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Every Game Day is like Christmas Day WGR App is played all the time. The Name Sal Cappacio makes you ask everyone to stop talking to listen in Bills Gear is always on the list for Fathers Day, Birthday and Christmas instead of TV abnnouncers - you listen to the radio broadcast of the game while watching The NFL Draft is an event to be watched - to see who we are getting... You've called the stadium The Ralph, Rich Stadium, New Era well before Highmark, Couldn't wait to get children Buffalo Bills clothes - my son wore his for years as a child fan even though other kids rooted for whoever just won the superbowl... -
We live in ROC, NY, and will tell you my story. My wife wanted a pool as the kids were like 3 and 6. I agreed even though i felt they would never use it - So glad to be wrong - they were in it every day and loved it - through parts of high school. Now we barely use it but it is nice to have and brings back memories. i have heard you can put balloons out when neighbors are invited, but we kept it low key - just our kids and their friends. Got a better grade above ground, increased insurance (glad a claim hasn't been needed), and invested in a robotic vacuum - drop it in when needed and better than being a pool boy.

Bills Backers Bar - Ft. Lauderdale
The BLUES Brothers replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
About 4 years ago - I was at Packys in Ft Lauderdale for a Bills game and it was great! Food was tasy for a bar, and a good 80%+ Bills Fans in there. They even had trivia to win Bills prizes. https://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g34391-d4630101-i252237394-Packy_s_Sports_Pub-Lighthouse_Point_Broward_County_Florida.html -
Such a new twist, it'll probably change along the way. Just an opinion but based on how the Bills would purposefully kick it short of the goal line last year to make the other team earn the yards, and then we'd have the gunner swarm to the runner - it resulted in the other team's starting spot further to their own goal line than many other teams did: https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/special-teams/kickoff-returns/2023/reg/all
