Week 15: Bills at Broncos
Coffeesforclosers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was from the DNVR podcast, I expected some creativity. They did point out that the bills are 1-3 against teams that rush the ball 50% or more of the time. One loss is the hail murray and the one win was vs New England. -
Week 15: Bills at Broncos

Not impressed with the Broncos fan takes on beating JA. "Keep him in the pocket, don't let him extend plays! Make him go down the field every single drive!". What in gods name are you talking about? Josh Allen is a good quarterback AND he makes plays on the move. If you let him stand in the pocket, shuffling and scanning for 3+ seconds, expect to get torched. If you let him roll smoothly to his right with his eyes down field, expect to get torched. This is true for every good quarterback. You need to get him off his spot, make him pull the ball down, and get him sprinting so he can't throw, otherwise he'll poke 10-15 yard holes in your coverage all day. -
Jets forum...so low....

The Beane-McD-Frazier-Daboll-Farwell Branch of the Andy Reid coaching tree has built a playoff contender out of a laughingstock with Pegs help. If Daboll leaves for his shot at being the big guy, that's that, so long as Pegs let's him name his price and gets turned down first. -
The josh haters are out in force today

Agreed in principle, but watching him go to pieces because he can't take a quarter of what he dishes out is good for a laugh. He reminded me of Will Farrell's "I'm John Rocker!" sketch. -

Nick's decided antagonizing people is the best way to get attention in the social media driven, Click!Like!Subscribe! world of sports punditry. How sad -
Week 14 Bills vs Steelers SNF PreGame Thread

Motivating your guys is one thing and it's critical, but then you've got to take care of the Xs and Os or else you're just jerking off. I don't see McD having to whip our guys into a frenzy to get their heads in the right place for this game. -

My guess is Daboll ran this by the analytics guys who told him it's better overall to just let them make their plays, then let the TJ Watts/Joey Bosas of the NFL dictate to your offensive game plan. -
Your opinion is more tempered than mine. After 18 years of bragging, cheating, hometown spots, eye-rolling ref favoritism, getting the rules changed simply because their quarterback got hurt on a fluke play...not to mention the general *****ery like their totally-not-spy-assistant coaches turning up everywhere, running up the score because why not, and seeding every NFL broadcast team in the business with ex-Pats from the burned spygate tapes era...they haven't even started to get what's coming to them.

Are the Patriots now the drought-era Bills?

Why would the vets and opt outs come.back? There's no reason to take BB's ass chewing film sessions and Patriot Way BS if they aren't a contender. And they are not a contender let alone a dynasty anymore. Retire, or go somewhere else and get paid what the market will bear. -

I predict a dramatic decrease in the number of "Brady" and "Bruschi" jerseys at the Ralph, and a dramatic increase in the number "Allen" and "Diggs" jerseys at Foxboro. Remember, this is the fan base that would walk out of Foxboro before halftime if B&B were down two scores. -

Maybe, just maybe, there's a dynasty starting here. A real one with multiple Lombardis. -

Agreed. Josh still has some work to do on eating sacks and living to fight another day. -

Watt is going to make his plays, just like Bosa did. As long as they aren't turnovers, we should be alright. A sack is just a TFL, and this offense has no trouble producing chunk plays.
