  1. They showed blitz on 3rd and 5, peeled out into zone, and got burned for like 50 yards
  2. Yep. Shouldn't have thrown it anyway but that's why it was almost picked
  3. Roberts isn't Devin Hester, but he's sure-handed, agile, and most importantly, he's SMART. The kind of player that we'd dearly miss if we didn't have in that position. Because we'd either be worried about Hyde getting hurt with extra duty, or another player muffing away games.
  4. We really struggle defending third and long recently.
  5. Winning the field position battle early. Reset it with a TD!!
  6. Nice job getting that one through the uprights, Hausch. Pretty weak boot though. Edit: Looks like he got ground first. Makes sense
  7. This isn't true, people here were talking about how impressive he was i the preseason. He was a real find for them. Excellent player.
  8. Equivalently, you guys need to stop pretending that his last year and a half in the league wasn't an unmitigated disaster, in which he was stripped of all reads beyond 10 yards down the field and has some of the most inept film that pro scouts have available to them, including things like failing to notice that his opponents felt so little of his arm that they'd literally bring the CBs to the defensive line, leaving WRs uncovered with 20 yards of space between them and the nearest defender..and he wouldn't even notice it, much less take advantage of it. Phrasing it as a "recent Super Bowl QB who gets blackballed" is dishonest and laughable. The guy was a clown QB three years ago and hasn't played meaningful football since, and it's delusion to think he could be useful to an NFL team three years later WITHOUT the sh*tshow he brings everywhere he goes.
  9. As bad as I felt about last week's game leading up to it, I feel really good about this one.
  10. There are people in here suggesting that what Rudolph did was worthy of the 3rd-longest suspension for on-field actions in NFL history. Think about what you're saying, people.
  11. "A few games" for an on-field action would put him up near the top of the list of suspension length due to on-field actions, in NFL HISTORY. His reaction is deserving of a penalty and little more. This is just crazy talk.
  12. Rudolph's actions deserved a 15 yard penalty, and no more. People wanting him to be suspended too are silly. The league absolutely nailed this.
  13. Yup. In football terms, they each deserved offsetting unsportsmanlike penalties - and THEN arrest-worthy assault occurred.
  14. Right like that's an unsportmanlike penalty most likely...and he'd stay in the game. Whereas Garrett could legit be arrested for what he did in theory
  15. The Browns forum i read was basically posting like "yeah it was dumb...but look at dumb stupid rudolph trying to take his helmet off" as if they're more or less a wash. "but you know gooddell loves to stick it to us so the steelers won't get anything" goofballs Here's another dandy: "I'm buying a Garrett jersey tomorrow. ***** Mason Rudolph. He is a piece of ***** human being. I hope he develops a subdural hematoma and dies."
  16. Ever since our game I'm seeing deep shots on every 3rd and short there is it seems lol
