  1. That stat can't be right. The Chiefs won in NE in 2017.
  2. Literally the last time I felt this way was before the Browns game so this doesn't exactly help hah
  3. I think it's all in the tapes. There's no way Bill isn't involved if it's explicit signal stealing. There's no way he is involved if it was an intern camera *****-up - then, like Pats fans are upset about, we can just laugh at how idiotic and incompetent Kraft is (they hate him)
  4. I agree - the question is is the penalty a Kraft-centered fine, perhaps with a loss of a draft pick, or is Belichick done in the NFL, or somewhere in between? Everyone is assuming the latter has to be the right case before we know anything more, while I'd just like to wait and see. Full disclosure - if this is definitely illegal signal taping, then I don't believe Belichick should be allowed to coach in the NFL ever again. But I'd only give this a 10% chance of being the case.
  5. Building a database for Zac Taylor, no matter where he ends up in the future.
  6. An independent contractor hired by Kraft broke a rule, yes. From what I can tell, that man has not worked for the patriots for very long. It sounds like everything was legal, until the bench came into the camera, which we actually don't know details about - one reporter claimed it was a full quarter of bench filming, the next claimed it was 8 minutes of real time. My point is, last night, when we knew just as much as we know now, everyone was happy with a "let's see what the tapes say." Now we still don't know anything more, but people are rabid and seeing red that the NFL is inclined to not think this is a big deal upon investigating the tapes. This change is not reflective of cool, rational thinking. People have already decided correctly or incorrectly the nature of this thing before we know anything more. I wouldn't put money on it not being nefarious - but I don't know that it is, and since Cincy has a copy of the tapes and the owners are in general furious about this stuff, I'm not inclined to believe in some massive coverup. Terry knows that systematic cheating would hurt his own team and bottom line, 2nd in the East as we are.
  7. Yes, they did. The Bengals have the original, and the NFL has a copy.
  8. The only thing that would make me think that the league is wrong there is if the tape shows explicit zooming in on hand signals, and flickers to the clock for time/down/distance etc. like the spygate stuff.
  9. Honestly terrified of this game.
  10. I think the pats are sketchy and will always take this stuff seriously because of it, but this is so unconvincing and you don't further elaborate. When I watch the Pats this year I see a team that can beat up on bad teams, but has a losing record against good ones, and can barely move the ball without trick plays no matter who they're playing.
  11. My bad, I thought the one you quoted was my response to that guy who went off.
  12. This really is so cut and dry. If the film is zoomed in on coaches' hands, or something like that, obviously it's serious. If it's random ass film, combined with the fact that this is an independent contractor doing work for Kraft Productions, it's a nothing burger.
  13. The Bills need to get good fast so we can move on from embarrassing stuff like this and focus on our team being good
  14. They were wearing Pats gear, filming in broad daylight, everyone knew they were there, they were running into Bengals employees. If I see the video and it shows illegal sideline filming, then I'll buy that they were breaking rules It literally looks like the booth this happened in was BEHIND the Bengals sideline, how oon earth would they be collecting signals from that side
  15. This sounds like a bunch of nothing and a bunch of bills fans ignoring the fact that it really sounds like a bunch of nothing
  16. The dumb thing about "Allen hasn't beaten good teams" argument is that it's completely possible for Allen to have beaten 3 playoff teams this year, if he can win this Sunday, the 8-5 steelers/titans, and a cowboys team that can still win 9. whether or not he does this has nothing to do with him or us, and everything to do with those teams' last few games. So I'm not really interested in viewing it that way when the only other good team he plays this year is NE. Sure he still needs to have a statement game against a great team, but he had good games against good ones and has only faced NE as far as "great" ones go. Next year there will be plenty of them with KC, SF, SEA on the table.
  17. Oh, and never wear red on red again. Of course it has no real impact - but that's not my team, that's not its colors, or its identity
  18. Knowing you need to score on two possessions doesn't do any good when that means you not only have to stop the ravens twice, but craft two straight scoring drives with about 5 minutes left by the time you can start the first one IF you stop the ravens in 3 plays the first time...
  19. Yep. And I think we absolutely COULD beat Tennessee, so I don't mean to sound like I'm trashing the Bills. But this is a matchup league, and like you say, I like our matchup with HOU.
  20. 35, 42, 31, 42 points in their last four weeks. That's 21 touchdowns in 4 games.
  21. Honestly want no part of the Titans, they're white hot. I think we can make Watson miserable and am not remotely scared of Houston's D
  22. I'm honestly not remotely discouraged by this game. The Bills hung in there with the best team in the NFL, which has blown out more than one great team. Allen struggles with the blitz when those teams are ferocious and also capable of covering while doing it. Luckily, that's pretty much only NE and BAL. He was really good against the blitz in the 3 games before this one. Need to get better with screens and slants and whatnot to discourage teams from doing that so often. This team, if it makes the playoffs, will be a miserable opponent for any possible first round team, and has a good chance at beating any of them. They likely aren't ready to beat NE or BAL on the road in the playoffs. I think they will be this time next year. Our defense, man. So fun to watch. Bizarre breakdown on the long TD pass, but they made me not remotely scared of Jackson otherwise. The OLs were bad but the Ravens sent 6 or 7 so many times it seemed like. The WRs and TEs did not make plays. They caught too low of a percentage of passes they should catch, and caught no passes that you wouldn't expect them to. They not only didn't help our team, they hurt our team. Nice to see Hauschka doing well. Bojorquez probably had his worst game of the season. This sucks, but as long as we get to 10 wins somehow, it's going to be a blessing in disguise that we face the defenses of BAL, PIT, NE, and NYJ to end the season. It's going to grow this offense and they'll be ready for wild card weekend. Need that big WR weapon this offseason. It's time.
  23. McKenzie, don't be a clown, get back to the huddle.
  24. So, is the game rigged in our favor now??
