Does Diggs Count Against us for the Comp Formula?
Franco_92 replied to ROCBillsBeliever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A formula determines this?? But the forum always told me the Pats get picks because the league loves them and the Bills don't because the league hates them?? -

You must not have watched any of Ben's what, seven quarters? He was beyond shot and that was before a devastating injury to his main throwing tool -
He wasn't the same last year, BEFORE he destroyed his arm. He looked pathetic in his brief few quarters IMO people talking about this guy like he'll be capable of anything are purely leaning on his name

Sean Payton has contracted COVID19
Franco_92 replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's true that ***** could always hit the fan, and that we haven't hit the low point yet, which is coming and could be scary, but I haven't seen any predictions that take into account the fact that we aren't doing NOTHING about it that make me think we are in it for the long haul, even if it gets spooky and bad it feels like everything could be canceled now but we are a loooooooong way away from football and we are bad at judging time scales that large, especially cooped up with every second dragging -

There will be an nfl season this fall. Might not be completely normal or on schedule -
Allen gave both Brown (over 1000 yards) and Beasley career years at the same time, while ending the season a markedly better QB than he was in the first quarter of it. He will be better next year too. Josh may wind up not being the answer, but Diggs will be incredibly productive either way. Allen will be more consistent getting him the ball than the Vikings offense was

Who Wins More Games in 2020 - Bucs or Pats
Franco_92 replied to inthebuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read that the Buccs lost 7 games by one score, in which Winston had 18 turnovers. I think with league average QB play they are a very solid team and Brady's brain is what drove his success more than his body, so I think it's gonna be fun to watch (and finally harmless to the Bills) -

The Death of the "Patriot Way"
Franco_92 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They made two Super Bowls and won one after the trade. It wasn't exactly a story of the 1996 Bills when the trade was made. And while I'm sure he prefers JG to his 2020 QB, JG is merely good, nothing special, and you claiming a "lack of a plan" because of something 3 years and 2 Super Bowls away isn't exactly compelling when there really isn't tangible evidence that it played out in the detailed way claimed by those who spend way too much time trying to paint their own stories over the Pats of the last 20 years There are plenty of fans there who are realists about the fact that Bill broke the rules 13 years ago, even though they are often drowned by goofballs, which happens here too, and anywhere else on the Internet. the fact remains that bills fans asserting things about Kraft with no tangible evidence is not justified by the Patriots cheating over a decade ago The logical train followed by bills fans in these discussions is often incomprehensible -
I think Big Ben was set to have a horrific season last year BEFORE that injury. No chance he's not fried

On the pats board it's a consensus that the kraft/bill Brady/garoppolo thing is completely fabricated, and they routinely get a kick out of people that build colossal narratives out of it like the above -

Same, I like Brady, but hate so much about NE. Tom, please sweep your afc opponents next year! -

Brady would bring TB to the NFCCG, at least. -

99% sure the private school thing was fake -
My oh my some of these fans have a slap in the face coming for the next few years. "I'll take .500 for the next couple year to be back in the Big Show thereafter."

They will win between 6 and 9 games.

I think we can all agree that this place is often maddening to different people at different points. Seeing as your job includes cleaning up on/after game days, I know you must relate. For whatever reason, me watching posters point out (correctly) that the Hopkins deals is one of the worst in NFL history, and then immediately try to trash this one using that one as an example, has put me over the edge. I'd much rather compare this to normal GMs making trades, like Bill B giving up a 2nd for Sanu, or the Falcons a 2nd for a backup TE. The return for this trade is well worth what we are getting, and I don't think there's any analysis you can do on this draft or drafts in general that could ever suggest otherwise, and these clowns comparing it to the Hopkins trade and pretending we could have given our 2nd to houston for Hopkins haven't come close to beginning even the most rudimentary "analysis"

Breaking news!!! Brady will not return to New England
Franco_92 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A low quality baby GIF in reaction to me pointing out that you posted something that was either completely f*cking stupid, or the worst joke in history? Whatever helps you cope lol They genuinely think finding a playoff-caliber QB is as simple as having Belichick give the football to the next guy, they think it's Stidham (whose release is worse than most I've seen in the NFL since Tebow) -

The premise of your joke was so cringe that your post just had to be commented on - even as a joke, it fell flatter than you can apparently imagine. It was an eyesore in all respects ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- People saying they wish he would have stayed so we could win while he was there are nuts. We wouldn't ever win the division with those two in NE. Our chances to do so with Josh on his rookie deal were either this, or none at all.
