Cant blame him. I felt the same way from my couch!

I'm not referring to fans like you, I'm talking about holier than thou posters that were smarmy enough it seemed they wanted us to have the misery of no season. It was really, really annoying, and entirely baseless upon an honest inspection of history, data, literature etc. Anyway, cheers to football being back. Watching tonight with some friends I haven't seen in ages

Was he the jet who drove into Allen's knees last year week 1?

Covid outcomes for my (and most) age bracket(s) are quite similar to diseases we all catch every year. So I'll take one for the team since a buncha you are oldies And/or have underlyings

Kaepernick An 81 OVR FA QB In Madden 21
Franco_92 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Five years ago, the Cardinals brought both cornerbacks over to the end of the defensive line, abandoning the outside receivers because they werent worried about Kaep's arm. The WRs frantically waved their arms, but Kaep didnt even notice it and handed off up the middle where the rb was stuffed. The coach that benched him for Gabbert, before doing so, disallowed him from throwing more than 10 yards down the field. He hasn't set foot on an nfl field in like half a decade 81 overall tho blm4lyfe -
Kaepernick An 81 OVR FA QB In Madden 21
Franco_92 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In addition to what's been said, they strip game modes of cool stuff each year it seems like, such that last year you could only be a pro with a QB. Every fun game mode isnt as good as it was 10 years ago -

It's been an abomination for years now. This year could be the worst yet -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Franco_92 replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Maybe this was shared here. There is no reason for us not to be in the stands together this Sunday. Same goes for a lot of more important things. I am livid, and my rage is growing each day. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Franco_92 replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I made these mobility plots for about 9 states of varying latitude. Non-immunoligical legislation doesnt dent these viruses. It's all about Hope-Simpson seasonality and HIT and population density and things like that -
Cam Newton ‘absolutely not’ the Patriots’ starting QB (?)
Franco_92 replied to cd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it's possible that Cam is competent. But I watched his last several games in a Panthers uniform and I would not use that word to describe what I saw, even with shoulder issues. He was awful. He still may be bad, even if hes healed (and it's tough to assume hell remain healthy at this point) -
Home field is a good point, but I'm encouraged that it may not matter so much. The Bills struggled at home last year (4-4, and even had some wins that shouldn't have been as hard as they were, MIA/CIN) and are playing in stadiums with some fans (MIA/TEN) that traditionally have strong Bills representations. On multiple fronts, this weird season may play into the Bills' strengths

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Franco_92 replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Question: I hear people talking about an increase in cases here (WNY) and elsewhere. Does this have to do with the fact that because of school and colleges, there has been a huge swath of tests going out to a previously unsampled population? If so, to what degree? I do believe that while we have reached a tentative functional HIT, the fall and winter will bring cases in through the cracks and cause "spikes," but I'm not sure if this recent uptick is this or if it's just a testing artifact. Are colleges using PCR testing? Because the virus will stay in your bloodstream for months even if you didnt have symptoms, and that test cant tell the difference between alive/dead virus DNA I'm terrified they're going to use a testing phenomenon to justify keeping us out of Bills games all season, which is genuinely not necessary -
The NFL Follows Suit With "Social Justice" Message
Franco_92 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pretty cringe. But harmless Let's pretend "racism," when actually present, isnt a product of in-group-bias instilled via dozens of thousands of years of evolution. Simply stop, bigot, duh! Any word on the size of the logos and length of time theyll be there? -

Best offense in the league bby -
Week 1: Bills 27, Jets 13 Week 2: Bills 24, Dolphins 21 Week 3: Bills 17, Rams 20 Week 4: Bills 19, Raiders 14 Week 5: Bills 28, Titans 17 Week 6: Bills 24, Chiefs 34 Week 7: Bills 35, Jets 9 Week 8: Bills 20, Patriots 16 Week 9: Bills 34, Seahawks 28 Week 10: Bills 17, Cardinals 24 Week 12: Bills 28, Chargers 10 Week 13: Bills 13, 9ers 27 Week 14: Bills 23, Steelers 20 Week 15: Bills 17, Broncos 24 Week 16: Bills 21, Patriots 23 Week 17: Bills 41, Dolphins 13 10-6, but a much stronger football team than last year. Bills get at least one playoff win. Also I think we split the Seahawks/Cards, but I just picked which one was the winner at random between the two. I think we struggle with the limelight a bit in December, but it gets us ready for the playoffs, where we are ready.

Bills announce no fans for 1st 2 home games
Franco_92 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Disappointing. -
A packed stadium in Orchard Park is integral to the Buffalo Bills experience for me, and I expect for many others, even when I'm not physically there. The atmosphere absolutely has an effect on players as well. Seeing stadiums as empty, barren wastelands would be depressing at best. But I'm hopeful now that I can get over that. NFL football wouldn't be close to the same with empty stadiums all year long
-
Definitely valid. But I was in despair about this upcoming season, and hockey has helped me turn a little more enthusiastic.
-
I have to say, I've spent a lot of time dreading what a lack of fans this year will do to my enjoyment of the games. But I've been avidly watching the NHL playoffs, and almost never think about the lack of fans. My enjoyment is 95% of what it usually is in a typical playoff season. Especially if some fans are allowed in, I don't think this will affect our enjoyment of the Bills as much as we may fear. My enthusiasm is increasing again. These guys are going to play hard, and there's a decent chance that they're going to be pretty good.
