Let's hear your thoughtful analysis on how the Bills have overlooked something so obvious to your astute eye, something that would make McBean and Terry smack their forehead and say, Doh! Why didn't we fire this guy instead of that guy? For God's sake you don't know everything, quit being a petulant crybaby The bills have reasons far beyond what we can see for what they do, and they make plenty of sense with the extremely limited information we have unless you want to stamp around and make this place unreadable as it has been the last 2 weeks

His contract isn't up lol. That's pretty easy They didn't fire Chad either Davis was the same player he always has been this year. A guy that can occasionally get over the top, who has a limited route tree, all of which take time to develop because he's not a good separator, and they all include deep outs, posts, and comebacks. This year we just saw what all of that looks like in the WR2 rather than WR4 role.

NFL Honors award winners (Daboll is COTY, Mahomes is MVP)
Franco_92 replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Even if this were true, who cares? Nobody stays "on trajectory" in the cap world. The bills spent 2.5 years as the darling that everyone wanted to be, and one game is apparently enough to make everyone here an unintelligent pisspot about them. The bills have josh allen, the jets have never and will not soon have a qb like him, which will always give the bills an edge. If they get a qb like him, their AMAZEBALLS roster will eventually take hits like ours. You people are seriously getting impossible to stomach -
And what significant development took place in the WR room that tells you he wasn't part of the problem? Our WR play has been terrible the last few years outside of Diggs and Beasley, both of whom were who they are when they got here.

This shows up randomly in my Facebook feed once a week. It's a nice play but it's bizarre that a hall of fame game play 15 yrs ago continues to get attention

2021 was fun for the first 5 weeks and then as annoying as 2022 until those 7.9 playoff quarters. I did enjoy those playoff games but 2020 was so much more fun for a much longer stretch than 2021. We were 7-6 in 2021 after the wind game and the OT loss at Tampa, and 3 of the 4 wins to close out the regular season are 3 of the most forgettable games in the allen era. Panthers, Falcons, Jets

2020 easily, even with covid. I had never seen anything like 13 wins. Or anything like playoff wins.

If Frazier returns, how much will your enthusism die?
Franco_92 replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was not lol. Not for one single fan on this entire earth. This is just the most recent heartbreak, so it's the most fresh, and this claim is the most predictable psychological reaction there is -

The sheer misery being exuded by a lot of people in bills land lately is jarring and unbearable and has so much more impact on my mental state towards football and the Bills right now than the actual bills do. Consuming bills discussion right now feels like ingesting poison. In August, you bet I'm going to be pumped to watch Josh Allen and the bills give it another go. And I hope to God i don't run into some of you -
I must have switched Peyton with a different elite qb in my head. 3 of the faces of the nfl in that era did not play in the division round before age 27 Just because you have reached some mental state of frustration with your team does not mean that the nfl will decide to keep them off of networks when they tend to set new bars for viewership in various time slots every time they play lol. They might not get the full slate, but are you telling me that nfl fans would prefer a randomized matchup to bills vs bengals/chiefs/eagles/cowboys whenever those games fall? There are what, 50 prime time games every year? Edit: after looking into it, the stat is: Brees and Rodgers were 27 before seeing the divisional round and manning was 27 before ADVANCING in the playoffs for the first time. I conflated some things but the point remains, Josh is not some tired has-been in the eyes of the league or fans lol
-
If the nation is bored of it, why do all the viewership numbers say the exact opposite? And what are you talking about? The bye would have taken those players directly TO the divisional round. But none of those 3 ever PLAYED in a division round game until 27 years old. Which Josh has done 3x at age 26. Yet they were still always on national television. You people are delusional, the Bills will get plenty of prime time games
-
I doubt it. The Bills bring viewers in huge numbers. Peyton Manning was on prime time all of the time even though he spent years being unable to get out of the wild card round (he, Brees, and Rodgers did not play in a single divisional round game before age 27, Josh has been there 3 times and is 26)

7-3 in super bowls is significantly better than 4-0 in super bowls. If Tom was 4-6 in super bowls that would also be significantly more impressive than 4-0
-
"Just may"? It's been the consensus for years bro
-
Alternatively, they fired a coach who had Hyde and Poyer to obscure things, while their backups spent 2 and 4 years under his wing and flopped badly when they hit the field

Exactly what does the Head Coach do????

Looking at our options to rebuild the o-line in 2023

Appreciate the write-up, good to know all of the names so I can be mad when other teams sign them all -
Or maybe the "serial cheater" model you built up in your head is at odds with the reality that most people live in, for reasons so obvious they don't need to be pointed out, and the allegations are broadly a joke, especially if you think they contribute even remotely as much to his success as how good he was

Wow, 3 whole times?
-
Lol for your sake I hope it is hfboards. But I'm guessing you're a REDDITOR

Fwiw when they put bates between morse and Dawkins down the stretch in 21, our run game came alive and our offense built itself up to those playoff games. I felt that all three played the best football of their lives in that stretch. I remember a good chunk of time where allen wasn't even touched, maybe 3 or 4 games
