  1. The Chiefs won a super bowl in a "cap reset" year. Pretty incredible
  2. There were times in the past few years where Mahomes and the Chiefs bothered me. In 2020 midseason when we were elite but hadn't won the division yet or a playoff game, through that postseason and offseason, I hated that Mahomes and the Chiefs might be a roadblock - we hadn't shown an ability to compete with them and they looked poise to block us and the rest of the AFC for years to come. And then early this year when things were going well but the chiefs kept winning too, my head was too high in the sky, because of our playoff offense last year, the offseason expectations, and the Bills' performance through the bye week. I was picturing allen as perennial MVP, expecting the 1 seed, and felt like we had things figured out. The events of the last couple months humbled me to how hard this all is, and helped get me in a healthier headspace. The Chiefs are on a level we and nobody else will reach until they're done. But the Bills have also shown they can compete with them and beat them. They don't give me any sort of doomed feeling like they used to, even though I still respect them more than any opponent. I just want to enjoy this stretch of franchise history, enjoy our qb, and trust that he will get us one super bowl victory. That's all I need. And Mahomes being Mahomes makes it harder for Allen to be like Mahomes in achievements, but doesn't make it that much more unlikely for him to get ONE.
  3. You don't want people speaking in positive certainties but are happy to throw that claim out there when we just watched donald NOT do that a couple months ago? LOL
  4. Reid is not going anywhere as long as Pat is around and Eric isn't getting a job as HC until he created and calls his own offense with success
  5. Yes. I don't have the stats on hand at work but I know I've heard it said multiple times that he converts these situations at an elite rate. We are bills fans so we remember all the failures. We see hurts convert a few times in the super bowl and assume he is great and allen is terrible because that's how psychology works. But that's not a valid line of reasoning unless you watch every qb play every game and see all their sneaks Allen literally has multiple 20+ yard runs on the qb sneak setup, because he spots leverage issues in the defense and elects to go around tackle
  6. The Bills scored on similar blitz beaters to the Moore TD three times this year...against Miami alone. Mckenzie Hines and motor
  7. This was my only takeaway. The franchise avoids white on blue because of vibes, but I'm not sure how you can go back to blue on blue after this year.
  8. That this benign and completely correct take has so many negative reacts shows how ridiculous this board has become. Bills fans deserved this year frankly, they have no clue how to handle having a good team. Miserable all year long Fundamentally suited to be drought fans
  9. Except for when they didn't do this, and gave skyy Moore a wide open TD. Bills fans just latch onto language like this when it expands their limited understanding of defense Xs and Os and repeat it all summer long
  10. They'll still be good but they have some cap casualties coming. A nice high pick too tho.
  11. And such quick wit, too!
  12. I am glad there are officially no more games in the 2022 season
  13. I'm pretty sure that statistically allen is one of the best in the league at this lol
  14. Reid is a great coach and offensive mind and I'd love to have him designing plays for Allen. Let's not pretend that Allen didn't have like 5 of those wide open hot read blitz beater touchdowns this year though lol
  15. So, what was Damar's jacket about?
  16. That niners offense and o line are high school level compared to Philly. And mahomes is not right with that ankle.
  17. you people are broken. what a joke
  18. Congrats on being old, but you're ***** annoying and not saying anything particularly interesting or even true
  19. Ignoring dead money that prevents a deal this year, Diggs would absolutely fetch a 1 based on his last 3 seasons. His tape is insane, and his production matches it.
  20. It definitely doesn't bother me, but I wasn't thrilled to see Daboll leave because I always thought he was a very good coach and I'm not positive we have the brains in the house to compete offensively with the Chiefs/Bengos
  21. Those clowns in Vegas! If only they could see what YOU could see, in all your misery. Then maybe they'd know something about football.
