  1. i know a cop whose colleague was called to their house at like 4am the night before the Bengals game. He didn't tell me why, I'm not sure he knew, but someone blew up at the someone enough that someone called the cops from the noise.
  2. The phantom PI was worse than both of those things. The Jags WR was never touched and it was what, 4th and 18 if the flag stays in the refs pocket? That game was over
  3. Lamar is a pretty good quarterback, who wins regular season football games and is very dangerous with his legs. I don't understand how Bulldog and other pundits/fans around the country are so baffled that teams aren't lining up to offer their firstborns for him, or that the Ravens won't just hand over a fully guaranteed version of the Allen contract. He has spent the last snaps of his team's season injured and unable to play for three consecutive years. Despite playing 15, 12, 12 games the last three seasons, none of them had more than 3000 passing yards. In his last 24 games, he has 33 passing touchdowns and 5 rushing touchdowns. He has done nothing of note in the NFL playoffs. He is a lot better than what many teams have, for sure. Those teams are right to wonder if they should give up a trade haul and contract commensurate with a passer who can play full seasons deep into playoff runs and compete with Mahomes, Allen and Burrow. They act like it's unconscionable, and hint at nefarious undertones, because this is the kind of people they are. But it's really pretty simple.
  4. This is an "unpopular opinions" thread, not "everyone who has said these things in every thread for three months come say them in this thread too, but with tone and syntax suggestint they are some righteous bearer of truth" thread
  5. This ***** comprises 75% of every post I've read here the past 3 months and the same people have the gall to flood the "unpopular opinion" thread with it, 20 times over yet again
  6. I agree about cook and am thrilled at the Harris addition. Mine is that the Bills are fine and need to take as many shots with this core group and coaching staff as possible.
  7. Jets would be cool, because if they're good it'd be the first time the two teams were must-watch prime time TV.
  8. Did he say anything interesting? I find sal incredibly uninteresting
  9. It's hit a point where this sort of wailing is becoming so obnoxious that I am going to save every single post I see and, when we win the super bowl, create a thread for each poster where we all go in and make fun of the garbage they spewed with such assurance, a sort of internet-forum tarring and feathering.
  10. Not one fanbase likes their backup offensive linemen lol
  11. The Chiefs' interior O Line is top 2 or 3 in the league. QBs like Mahomes (and Allen) can deal with weak tackles (RT in particular) a lot easier than the middle being blown up in their faces. The Chiefs tackles were solid but not as good as their middle-3. Allen was usually okay when Spencer was flopping, and some of our best highlight reel plays came from Allen reacting favorably to Spencer getting beat, almost as if he wanted it to happen that way. But nothing good happened when Saffold got blown up.
  12. idk, when I saw Henry this year he was going down easier than most.
  13. Hes 40. He's in the middle of falling off a cliff. Even in his last couple good season, traditional markers of decline started showing up
  14. They signed a DC and CB who allen is a combined 5-0 against, with 17 total tds in those games give or take
  15. And has 17 games of mediocrity in the 14 months since that season ended Go rewatch him in week 18, a must-win for the packers to make the playoffs, going against one of the worst defenses in the league at home
  16. He sucks too
  17. I mean orlando
  18. Josh Allen and it's not particularly close, and the answer is the same even if you allow me to take prime Rodgers rather than the dude that sucked balls last year.
  19. She is not based, she sleeps around on her husband
  20. He had two separate injuries which by themselves would keep most players off the field. Neither will be an issue next year. He was off to the best start of his career until they piled up.
