  1. San Francisco was the best start-to-finish quarterbacking I have ever seen in a Bills uniform, and probably a top 5 performance in my 18 years watching the entire NFL (I know, not that long). But I'm cool with the 2 playoff games above it because of the stakes and how he basically dragged the team kicking and screaming through the KC game. Fun list to read and think back on, hope he adds a few more to it next year.
  2. The purpose of cover zero is to get to the qb in situations where he isn't releasing the ball in half of a second, and don't let anyone behind you in case the qb avoids the pressure long enough. It's a long yardage boom or bust call (miami used it on 3rd and 15 on the Diggs deep shot in the wild card game). When a qb like burrow needs 2 yards, you don't call "zero but play tighter", that is r*tarded. You call something else entirely
  3. This is press because they're on the goal line lol. On the other play they had the yardage to give the standard cushion every team gives on cover 0 Zero is just a bad play call against joe burrow, or allen, mahomes, Rodgers etc All defensive plays on the goal line look like zero with press coverage because the field ends! They have the "goal line package" there
  4. If I were terry I would turn to his 41 wins over the last 3 seasons, one of 2 teams to win a playoff game each of the last 3 years etc.
  5. I would simply never call cover 0 against a QB I consider a top 10 QB
  6. The bills have never called cover 0 with press man in the snow lol. They were in a different coverage then. The picture I quoted insinuates that the CBs need to be in press on that play call. That is ######ed - if they are in cover 0 with press in the snow, instead of barely getting the first down (which they wouldn't have gotten had white been better about tackling even with the cushion) burrow would have had one of three wide open WRs for a touchdown and could have picked whichever he would have liked to throw to, like you would pick your favorite cantaloupe at the store. I agree that press man coverage would have been best there, but not with cover 0, because cover 0 is TOO AGGRESSIVE for the circumstance. Cover 2 press man on the outside with that 3 man rush and delayed Milano blitz would have been my call. If you can get a screen shot of that next play you mention that shows 7 blitzers I will believe you. But I have literally never seen what people were asking for from that play
  7. This is cover 0, the most aggressive call in the defensive playbook. Wrong time for it, maybe, but too many fans pretend this was a soft playcall The reason you don't press with zero is there's no help and one mediocre double move from the 4 WRs who are all faster than their defenders gives burrow 4 wide open guys to choose from
  8. It is comically easy to watch any game I want for free at this point. I don't know or care what peacock is
  9. Literally as likely as your 0-3 you pisspot
  10. The bills' ceiling is winning 15 or 16 games and then the super bowl. Their best case scenario is NOT losing 2 more games than they lost last year with insane injuries
  11. It didn't become clear to me until i actually sat down and wrote schedules out and tried to "fix" it. We were at Tennessee in 19, 20, 21 as well, but home to pit in 20,21,22. Meaning that we have to play AT cinci again next year, before an overlap of having both KC and CIN at home I believe. (Assuming we all keep winning divisions)
  12. In 2020. If the bills finished in the same standings position as the chiefs for eternity, the games would be distributed as follows: 2018: in Buffalo (but this was against the chargers) 2019: in Buffalo (but this was against denver) 2020: in Buffalo (this one happened, AFCW rotation) 2021: in KC (The Bills started winning the division) 2022: in KC (again, bills won division) 2023: in KC (afcw rotation, no matter what) 2024: in Buffalo (instead of the chargers game in 2018 bc we are always finishing with the chiefs in this scenario) 2025: in Buffalo (again, division finish match) 2026: in Buffalo (afcw rotation) And so on. No, you can't break these up and maintain the divisional rotations and playing the corresponding finisher in the two afc divisions you don't play, unless you want 7 home games half of the years.
  13. There's an angle out there that shows the defender completely obscured behind someone the moment josh is throwing, he definitely just didn't see him. Bad read all the same.
  14. Every page of every thread every day we have to explain this
  15. If you plan it out manually and then try swapping every other year yourself, you immediately see why it has to be this way. Because the off-year teams are paired differently, you would wind up with different numbers of home and road games if you also successfully avoid 3 straight years in any one building.
  16. Unless we don't match up in division standings, in which case the visitor to Buffalo could be a different team from that division the next 2 years.
  17. Again, we need a sticky post for this because it gets asked 5x per day It's the same reason we hosted Pit 3 years in a row the last 3 years, and it's an inescapable possibility if you want the schedule to be structured the way it is
  18. It is pretty apparent to me, after countless minutes observing Kincaid's demeanor and physiognomy, as well as his highlight videos, that we are looking at an all-time Bill, who will be one of the first supporting cast members we think of when we look back on Josh Allen's career
  19. That's not true, i know stuff about what happened that night and I never bought the girl's story about Matt.
  20. Because it is stunning what people held in high esteem (for some reason) get away with and it's handy to have a stash of examples when I am arguing with my clueless friends
  21. Has anyone brought this up on WGR yet today?
  22. It's in the first post in the thread lol
  23. Thanks.
  24. What the Bills did here was not evil, bad, incompetent, or anything like that They weren't brave either though, and they could have been
  25. The NFL only cares about perverted, performative definitions of this word, the original concept gutted, its skin worn as a rotting disguise
