  1. He's 47-17 the last 4 years but I'm gonna need a bigger sample size to be sure.
  2. This was the sort of thing I explicitly hear about Mahomes and was hoping, but could not clarify, that Josh does as well. I'm also hoping Josh's comments about his offseason diet are deflections as well, and the dude is making sure he's a finely tuned machine. From reports he has been good so I assume he is always keeping up on his mechanics etc. I got a little spooked juxtaposing the bussin' with the boys interview with Pat training his weak side scramble throw power to be equal to his right etc. Wondering if our QB was keeping up
  3. Was the Raiders win over the Chiefs in 2020 evidence that they were closing the gap? The Chargers beat the Chiefs in 2021, and played them extremely close the next game. But both those teams have lost every game to the Chiefs since It means nothing going forward that the Dolphins played us close despite being outgained by 1300 yards over 3 games
  4. I like to think of that PI as deserved retribution for the worst call I've ever seen in my life earlier that game, when Tyler Kroft went up for a pass, caught it, came down with it, stood up with it. But because the DB tried to pull it out when they were on the ground, the refs called it an interception, which kick started the rams comeback in the first place
  5. I would cry if you hugged me
  6. I guess I agree with your last statement, but I believe it's beyond neurotic to take the meaning out of this that so many people did. He is rapid-fire answering media questions, the millionth ones he's received in his time here
  7. We won't sweep the Dolphins and jets but I wouldn't be surprised if our wins against them are easier this year than last. One season does not make a trajectory, and few trajectories stay true year over year in the NFL
  8. We need to remember that the question to Sean was phrased in such a manner as to assert there was definitely a level of concern. "How concerned are you a player is missing from minicamp?" Sean is fresh off a high-emotion discussion, his options to answer are basically "very" and "a little" and "not," the only one that wouldn't have caused a shitstorm was also not true. You guys and everyone else made it into an obscene deal compared to what it was, even if it was true that Sean was very concerned. Everything is hyper-online now and it drives and amplifies phenomena like that I wasn't sure what to expect from Diggs but the interview was cathartic. This is a team that is locked and loaded. I can now mentally move past the shitshow that was Bills football from Jan 2 through the offseason and I've never been more pumped for the next one than I am right now
  9. Interesting stuff.
  10. Thanks to all who post tweets and training camp content. Many of us are starved and greatly appreciate every little nugget
  11. I just saw a stat floating around today That defense filled with the players you list, gave Herbert the highest number of combined points allowed through a QB's first 3 seasons in NFL history. Apparently, Herbert has also led his team to the most points in a player's first three seasons as QB as well, but it's not enough to be great when your defense is breaking the record in the other direction And he had busted ribs from week 2 onward last year Anyone who has watched Allen and Burrow play Mahomes says "is my quarterback capable of winning a game like that?" Herbert has the skillset to lead a passing offense capable of this. Lamar has 33 passing touchdowns in his last 24 games, has horrendous playoff numbers and hasn't been on the field for his team's last meaningful snaps of the year since 2019 due to injury
  12. Yeah, the guys ribs never healed. He loves to sling it when he is physically able to. Let's hope these guys take a bite out of KC this year
  13. I am clearly talking about being a true #1 QB that can find success at the NFL level The guy plays, acts, and talks so timidly
  14. Marcus Mariota just oozes "not gonna make it" and did so even in the clips from when he was drafted. you can tell even when he is pumping his team up that his grasp on the job and his abilities is frail.
  15. I knew as I was typing that it wasn't addressing your main point, but I still wanted to put those numbers out there
  16. Dudes literally dating a famous actress, this would get more non-football fans to watch
  17. These people are a combined 0-5 against josh allen. In those 5 games, Allen has 17 touchdowns and I believe 3 turnovers
  18. In the playoffs, Joe Burrow has played 7 games, Allen has played 8. Burrow has 10 TDs (9 pass, 1 run), Allen has 20 TDs (17 pass, 2 run, 1 catch). Allen has 5 turnovers, Burrow has 4. Allen's team's defense has gifted him 7 turnovers, Burrow's has gifted him 13. In Burrow's super bowl run the offense had 45 drives by my count, and scored 7 touchdowns. In 2021 alone, Josh Allen led the Bills offense to 12 touchdowns in 16 drives Burrow has led NO fourth quarter touchdown drives in 7 career postseason games I don't really want to hear about how "Burrow has made it to a Super Bowl and Allen hasn't" Allen probably has 2 super bowl wins if he was the Bengals QB for the 21 and 22 playoff runs.
  19. If Josh Allen is healthy, there is only one team in the NFL I'd rather switch positions with This will be more or less true for the entirety of the prime of Josh Allen
  20. I still think the Jets can be good in this scenario, because their QBs were worse than the level to which I imagine Rodgers falling this year. But the man is being put in everyone's top 5 QB lists and I wouldn't be surprised if he finishes the year outside of most people's top 20 And I do think the Jets were right to go for it. I just think that the ball I saw from Rodgers last year wasn't because his weapons or line sucked (and his line is not getting any better in NJ)
  21. Rodgers, his decline was not an aberration and will only accelerate
  22. Jesus ***** christ what are you talking about I have to leave this place for days at a time because all I ever read is people criticizing mcd and it's so boring Where is this imaginary place where all the annoying posters don't exist, I yearn for it
  23. If Toney and Skyy Moore count as investments that show high prioritization relative to the Bills'additions... I wouldn't trade Shakir, Harty and sherfield for Moore and Toney I want better receivers too but your "at least the chiefs" stretch just tore your groin
  24. Yup, until they weren't anymore. A lot of time has been spent bemoaning what Buffalo looked like against Cinci this year. But nothing is ever static in the NFL and long-term I'm not super afraid of them, definitely not more than KC
  25. You could double your money fairly simply even without billions! It just won't feel as good
