  1. I agree with the bolded part. If you were to put Tua on any other team, he'd be nothing more than average. But his durability issues will always hold him back, and how the Dolphins didn't invest more in OL in both the draft and free agency completely baffles me.
  2. Shakir did pretty well last year as a rookie and that gives him leg up on Kincaid, it wouldn't be that surprising if he ups his game this year
  3. Not really concerned about Rodgers with the Jets. One thing to remember is that Rodgers has had the benefit of playing in a weak division for a long time. This division minus New England is probably the most competitive division he's played in in years. If there are those that think he didn't drop off last season or that it don't matter? Just because Brady played well in his 40s doesn't mean Rodgers will duplicate that same success. And for those that are putting the Jets defense on a pedestal, Quinnen Williams is pounding the table for more money and is already threatening to hold out. And he's their biggest playmaker on the D line. I may sound homerish but there is merit to all of this. For what the Jets gave up to get Rodgers, they better be SB contenders right off the bat and I'm just not seeing it. Because once Rodgers is gone, they're gonna end up right back where they started, QB purgatory. Either that or they'll go the way of Indy and just sign has beens and go back to 4-13 seasons
  4. I'd have to say yes to this, especially if Hopkins is willing to work with a team to ease any cap issues.
  5. I think this guy is a closet Bills fan, but he's very good at breaking down everything, very objective. It's sometimes hard to believe he's a Dolphins fan
  6. I lived in that area a long time ago, very nice area that is. Lived in a little spot called Arcadia
  7. Ugh Spam = Sh*t Posing As Meat. Grew up watching it plop in to a bowl, no thanks today. As for the topic, I wouldn't be opposed to signing Henry, and also Damien Harris if Henry is a no go
  8. For what the guy has done in his career, he's about as humble a person as he can be. Hate the team he plays on, but he is a total class act. Won't object to trading for him if the price is right as long as it doesn't involve blowing up our draft. The Titans would probably pull the trigger on a trade, Jeffrey Simmons is gonna want to get paid soon so trading Henry makes sense
  9. They don't have any trade assets at all outside of tearing down their own team. Their FO made some horrible trade decisions, namely the trade for Chubb
  10. Flipping through all these posts and still no sign of FilthyBeast? As far as the game goes, Mostert is a bigger problem than Hill if our last game was any indication
  11. In other words, we need Schwartz back
  12. I'm not ready to give up on Davis yet, I agree with the rotation with Brown however. What Davis did last year can't be dismissed just like that, I'm willing to see how he does in the playoffs
  13. Chef's kiss on this writeup Shaw. Ever since the days on the BBMB, I've always read your work, and yes, I consider it work. Your time and effort in to writing these posts are always appreciated. As for the bolded part, while I may not be from Buffalo or even know a soul there, I'm quite sure you have more friends there than you realize. Thanks again for all you've done up to this point
  14. We saw them in the playoffs last year at home and absolutely demolished them. And they had a top defense last year as well iirc and still hung a 40 burger on em. Their offense is far worse this year than last year. As for the Dolphins, people saying Tua can play in bad weather don't remember the only bad weather came with 6 mins left in the 4th quarter. And with Tua getting another concussion, the league may bench him for his own good. They may not even make the playoffs. The Jets bother me more than Miami.
  15. Can't help but feel bad for Tua, I'd root for him if he weren't in teal
  16. Odd playcalling, at least the Dolphins are out of time outs and the 2 min warning is burned
  17. For what we saw tonight, or last night that is, how can Ike be any worse? I shudder to think what the 49ers would do to this oline
  18. Why should it stop at Dorsey? Frazier and especially Kromer deserve some flak themselves. God I wished we had Schwartz back, this defense would be so brutally nasty with him.
  19. Being from the south, I can attest to this. I was in Erie PA once having dinner at an Outback steakhouse. I thought I was dressed warm enough but to my shock, as soon as I stepped out of the car, that wind coming off the lake wasn't just cold, it was painful. It literally felt like my skin was being cut open. McDaniel will be burning that T shirt as fast as he could put it on, and Tua will find out trying to throw in that wind will be every bit as hard as trying to endure it
  20. I'm inclined to agree with this. Beasley has never been a speedster. As many have already mentioned, he's not a RAC type of guy. But he is very good at moving the chains
  21. Ok, with all due respect, you really don't think Beasley and Allen couldn't pick up where they left off?
  22. Given what I've seen of Brady so far this year, thriving isn't exactly the word I'd use
  23. If there were any reason for McDermott to ring up Beasley, this alone may be it. How would this be any different of a distraction than what Beasley did? McKenzie doesn't need to be worrying about what fans say, and I'm quite sure McDermott wasn't happy with this himself. For all those saying Beasley is washed up, how bad can he be at this point in the season? Most of his criticism came in the latter part of last season where he battled injuries and for the most part played through them. Then for those saying how bad he was in Tampa, even Brady himself is bad there.
