  1. The real problem for the Jets will be what happens when Rodgers’ tenure ends. Let’s face it, unlike Brady, he’s in a conference where the opposition is far greater than anything he’s ever faced, especially when comparing the NFC North to the AFC East, and even both conferences in general. Joe Douglas already has a history of drafting bad quarterbacks unless he gets canned. And even then, it’ll be back to rolling the dice on both a new GM and finding a QB
  2. Yet even with those star players, they still managed to wither as the season went on. The loss to Tennessee was more telling than a lot of people realize. I’m a firm believer that a team built on speed will eventually slow down as the year progresses, especially when the regular season was extended. As for the Jets, their defense is legit. Like a lot of posters here, I’m not convinced Rodgers will be able to pull a Brady. Nor am I convinced Saleh is capable of winning consistently
  3. Only reason he went there was to get paid. No state tax plus he can practically have the best seat in the house since everyone knows Hill will always be Tua’s first read. By the time he looks Beckham’s way, he’s more than likely sacked
  4. Yeah, I agree with the above. What baffles me about Miami was the signing of OBJ. They had/still have obvious issues in the trenches and basically wasted money and a roster spot to keep Beckham away from possibly signing with us or the Jets. They have good enough WRs without Beckham. Rodger’s approach to this offseason should be more concerning to the Jets than anything else. Not to mention their OL
  5. I would rather have had Skylar Thompson, White would suffer PTSD being around Milano
  6. Joe Delaney, very good RB and gave his life to save 2 kids from drowning
  7. Shots fired
  8. No thanks, blue charging buffalo on black, maybe
  9. Of course they were gonna sign him, that was more than evident. Say what you want about what they think of him but they did drag this out for a reason. I guarantee you this will make things problematic keeping talent around, including if not especially Tyreek Hill
  10. The injury risk isn’t the only issue with Tua. Is he worth all that money when it comes to late season performance? If their FO regarded Tua the way you have, it wouldn’t have taken this long for a deal. All he’s got so far is barely making the playoffs and blowing a division title leading by 3 games
  11. Was referring to the playoff win in Buffalo
  12. Technically he's 11-2 vs the phish
  13. Thus it begins, this will end up turning nasty just from what McDaniel said alone. McDaniel referenced money when he “chewed” him out. So in his mind, he already thinks they’re overpaying Hill. And now he wants more? Oh yeah, this should be fun
  14. Wasn't a Bills fan until the late 80s. Fun fact though, my first replica jersey was O.J. Simpson when I was about 6-7 years old. Had a friend that was a fan of Marino, I thought he was a big crybaby. Then I saw Bruce and the rest of the defense put him in his place over and over again. I jumped on the bandwagon and have been on it ever since
  15. In my opinion, the Dolphins late season collapses aren't just because of Tua's inability to perform in the clutch. That offense is built for speed and after about 10-12 games, speed tends to fade a bit. I don't know if Tua could sustain any form of success without Tyreek Hill. I know Waddle is fast too but he's no Tyreek. I don't blame the Dolphins' FO for not overpaying Tua, 1 healthy season doesn't erase multiple concussions.
  16. OBJ at this point in his career is about money. No state taxes in Florida was more the deciding factor than anything else.
  17. Agreed. With Tua being a one read QB, OBJ will be banging the table for more targets. Let’s also factor in McDaniel scorning Hill about not performing up to his pay grade, which in my opinion will fester in to some ugly sideline exchanges as the season goes on. Signing OBJ could very well cause drama in so many different ways this year
  18. I hate that he beats our team, especially in the playoffs, but at the end of the day, he’s just doing what they pay him to do. He deserves a lot of credit and all you can do is tip your hat
  19. The only thing scary about the Dolphins is Tyreek. Tua may have thrown for more yards than Allen but Allen had more total TDs, don’t know if he had more total yards but my point is, outside of Hill, nothing on that team, especially their defense scares anyone
  20. Doesn’t matter who they sign, they’re still limited by Tua. Not to mention their defense is still sus after losing key players to FA. As long as Allen is in the division, the Dolphins will always have daddy issues
  21. Your original write up I totally agree with and I can get on board with this as well. I don’t know if Coleman can be a viable replacement for Stephon or not but this offense found its groove without him toward the end of last season. The transition from one OC to another was apparent and Shakir made his mark in a short period of time, which makes what you said all the more true. Good call Alpha
  22. I couldn't help but laugh, kinda like that goofy "which way did he go" cartoon
  23. What I found hilarious was Myles Jack tackling Diggs on Shakir's TD. As for the late hit on Josh, you had to know they were gonna call that when you saw it
  24. I wonder if Phillips will be back for this one, sure is looking like Douglas will be
  25. I wasn't thrilled when I heard Rasul was inactive, but honestly, with it being Rudolph and less than ideal weather conditions, it might not be a bad call to give him more rest
