Bills 24, Redskins 9 Game Balls

Singletary Allen Tre Honorable Mention: Taylor (he came up big on a stop, nice for his first game) -
What must Allen do Tomorrow?
buffalo2218 replied to billsfan_34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a game where Allen has to show some form of progress. Hard to believe his deep ball accuracy seems to be so bad due to working on his short and intermediate throws. I think a lot of his problems are not trusting his O line, feeling too much pressure where there isn't any. And for the love of god Daboll, scrap the hell out of those designed runs ffs -
Something tells me Shady may be one and done in KC

I agree that Bell hasn't been stellar for the Jets, but there's only so much even he can do on a team trotting out a practically makeshift O line and a HC that apparently thinks running the ball is the way the devil gets inside you

Put Bills trade talks today here.
buffalo2218 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Beane is a quite a bit too enamoured with Singletary to even think about trading him, especially to a division rival. But as tantalizing as it is to think of Bell in Buffalo, he'd probably end up punching Daboll out at some point -
Our next 4 games are very winnable

I’m not sure you’re understanding what I’m saying here. You seem to be going by records and Vegas odds. I explained the records part. We were favored what? 17.5 against Miami? 2 against Philadelphia? 2 consecutive games played at an inconsistent level on both sides of the ball. I’m not saying the Bills will lose, but I’m far from saying they’re a lock for a win. -

I watched some of the Skins games, but apparently you didn’t quite notice that this Bills team had to comeback against an 0-5 team to win, and got their ass handed to them by a 3-4 team. Records don’t mean a thing anymore, and the worst thing about it is our defense was exposed against Miami, of all freakin teams. If after the last 2 weeks you haven’t learned that the whole team is inconsistent now, and not just the offense, you may wanna reconsider prematurely giving praise where it isn’t warranted -

What in god’s name makes you think this game is any more winnable after seeing the strength of this team become gradually weaker and our already weakness not progressing any more than it did all year? From this point on, I do not trust Daboll nor should I have any reason to. Our defense faltering lately is far from a good sign. Our offense still unable to put together a dominating performance after 6 weeks is worse -
JJ Watt likely out for the season
buffalo2218 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They'd probably expect him to play through it -

If the Bills let Joe Fluko even keep it close, I swear I'm gonna think Daboll took over playcalling on D -

I'm not gonna even say the Redskins are winnable, not after today and last week. Daboll better stay up late all week developing a gameplan that actually works -

Isn't that the second time Watt tore his pec? Thank god he doesn't play for the Jets -
A lesson learned? It is not all about Defense
buffalo2218 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They were playing as good as they could before the bye week, even against the Pats. Somehow, it seems they took a huge step backwards. If the same D that played the Pats played today, would probably have been a different outcome -
A Message of Calm from a Josh Allen Skeptic...

Couldn't agree more, Daboll seems so clueless. I would rather Allen call his own plays from here on, how much worse could it get? -

Very nice post dude, it's not Allen or anyone else I'm concerned about. It's the coaching staff, mainly on the offensive side of the ball.- 104 replies

buffalo2218 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That designed run garbage makes zero sense. They talked about having Allen run less and pass more all offseason, and then this crap starts back up. It's almost like Daboll has no clue what to call and just falls back on a designed QB run -
I swear sometimes I think Bellichek is sending these guys out of NE to sabotage other teams

Brown has so many legal issues, he'd get served a subpoena right in the middle of a game. Green is too banged up to be trading picks for, especially for what Cinci is probably gonna want

Bills 13, Eagles 31 postgame thread

What happened the last time we had a favorable matchup? Washington's D isn't a slouch compared to Miami's -

buffalo2218 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They were great, then after the bye week, they became sloppy. In this case, having a great defense ended up being a detriment. Daboll relied too much on our D, and today we paid for it -
This is always gonna be a problem, constantly trying to out think himself instead of just doing what works. Allen could go 10/10 and he'd do something to undermine it. Daboll has held this team back, and I'll agree that poor execution plays a role. But Daboll and his gameplanning is too overlooked outside of Bills fans. How much worse would it look if we made a monster trade for a WR but nothing changes?

Our problems on offense wouldn't change with Green, so losing draft picks makes no sense. We need a much better O coordinator, no amount of Green, Jones or anyone else is gonna change that
