  1. You can't throw ifs on one specific issue. My god the list is far longer than a lack of a defensive stop on the Browns' last drive
  2. Unfortunately, I think the coaching staff holds them to just as high a standard. We all knew this D was far from the one we've been accustomed to seeing before the bye. I think it's the offense's turn to at least play near the same level. The defense held the Browns to 12 points before that drive, and Hauschka missed 2 FGs that would have won us the game
  3. Only scoring 14 points is as every bit as much to blame as that last drive. This defense has bailed out the offense all year with the exception of maybe the Giants. It's atrociously unfair for one side of the team to constantly bail out the other side. The offense hasn't pulled their weight for the majority of the year. The offense failed far more than the defense today only putting up 14, not to mention special teams *cough Hauschka*. Lack of execution on offense has kept this team in games closer than they should have been, and it's produced near losses as well. I won't put any part of today's loss on this defense. Yeah, they gave up some chunk yards today, and they stunk up the joint against Philly. But the wins we have were more attributed to the defense. And with those wins came the masking of the offensive deficiencies
  4. 3rd and 3 and he opts for a bomb? Daboll is far from fine
  5. That missed FG really hurt
  6. Maybe he's sharing one with Manziel
  7. I will give OBJ credit considering his past antics, he's kept his mouth shut by past standards. He's showing good patience with Mayfield, but everyone knows that won't last the whole season if OBJ isn't getting passes. Regardless of Kitchens being a major part of the Browns' issues, Mayfield still has a hand in those himself both on and off the field
  8. If Allen had Thurman Thomas, his passing numbers might not be as high as Kelly’s
  9. McDermott won’t need to do anything for Beckham to go off. Mayfield is close to doing that himself
  10. Welp, good day all around. Pats, Jests, Indy and Cleveland all lost. Next 4 games are cake for the Bills compared to the Pats. You gotta believe that was intentional
  11. Yeah unlike Edelman, Welker wasn't a punk
  12. It is a bad spot, but if anything was shown against the Broncos today was that Cleveland looks like it has a run D worse than ours. Singletary is gonna be key in this game, as well as more blitzes
  13. Only thing Cleveland has done consistently is self inflicted wounds. The 2 biggest issues on that team are OL and coaching. Kitchens is in way too far over his head
  14. Loseable games for sure, but I can't see the Bills matching the pats win for win. 9 weeks of games and practice and there's still too much inconsistency
  15. Bills are the last team in the league that would get away with that
  16. If there ever was a time for Mayfield to completely meltdown, it'd be nice if the Bills caused it. Daboll better have a solid game plan, and I'm hoping what the Bills did against the run in the 2nd half today carries forward. Dealing with both Chubb and Hunt is gonna be a lot harder than just Peterson
  17. I have a feeling the league said something along the lines of "stop making it too obvious"
  18. Gase has been getting the majority of criticism from fans, but after today, the media will go as nuts as the fans
  19. NY media is gonna feast on Gase after today
  20. Singletary Allen Tre Honorable Mention: Taylor (he came up big on a stop, nice for his first game)
  21. This is a game where Allen has to show some form of progress. Hard to believe his deep ball accuracy seems to be so bad due to working on his short and intermediate throws. I think a lot of his problems are not trusting his O line, feeling too much pressure where there isn't any. And for the love of god Daboll, scrap the hell out of those designed runs ffs
  22. Something tells me Shady may be one and done in KC
  23. I agree that Bell hasn't been stellar for the Jets, but there's only so much even he can do on a team trotting out a practically makeshift O line and a HC that apparently thinks running the ball is the way the devil gets inside you
  24. I think Beane is a quite a bit too enamoured with Singletary to even think about trading him, especially to a division rival. But as tantalizing as it is to think of Bell in Buffalo, he'd probably end up punching Daboll out at some point
