    AFTER the Packers?

    In all seriousness....

    Cousins Cook and Jefferson

    Wilson - let's ride

    Chubb

    Tua maybe probably and Hill/Waddle

Wilson and future Hall of Famer Breece Hall

    Zappeeeee and BB

    All unique challenges

The LAST QB on that list that worries me is Zac "boy band" Wilson. Despite their win, he's still gonna get smacked by good defensive teams

Wow, the days of the occassional overthrow on deep passes seem to be over.

He's been putting some more arc under his deep throws whereas before he seemed to be trying to fire it downfield as hard as he could throw it. He finally learned to trust his receivers to make a play on the pass, and Davis' one handed catch showed Josh's trust

  3. So in the last 3 years, he threw a punch and got ejected in what? The second series against the BIlls? I didn't see it, but some mentioned he was twisting Allen's ankle last year before Allen waved bye to him. And now this. I'm hoping the league is starting to notice these things. Won't be surprised if there's some form of retribution coming his way when they go to Buffalo

I don't think McDermott and the O purposely do that.  What they do is attack what the D gives them.

There is a chance that the Dolphin's D play a deeper shell which opens up the shorter stuff to start the game.

That could cause some higher play count drives which could eat up more clock per drive.

Then again, they could go man to man in which case it's all up in the air.

If Howard plays man on Diggs, he'll be in for a long day since he's nursing a groin injury. And the last time they put Needham on McKenzie, he torched him all game long. I also believe this particular D line of the phins will be the easier one compared to the last 2 we faced

Weather.com is saying right now 40% chance of rain...scattered thunder storms.

Normally I hate bad weather but I do think this highly favors us.  Miami can only throw (maybe) and rain slows down Hill, plus Tua is small.  He is erratic a lot in good conditions, make that ball wet....he's going to look like Nathan Peterman.

I remember Tua playing in the rain against the Titans last year and looked dreadful. I agree those weather conditions favor us more. Miami has 2 good backs but not near a good enough O line

I think Buffalo still wins next week (assuming we get through tonight relatively unscathed), but I think we can all agree it would be nice if we didn't have to deal with Hill/Waddle before White comes back.

On paper, Baltimore's defense might be better than ours; they obviously fell apart in the 2nd half with some strategic mistakes as well as just some blown coverages, but people are acting like their secondary is a joke. They have one of the best corner duos in the NFL and a good group of safeties (not Hyde/Poyer level, but still very good). There's a reason people believed Baltimore would be a top 5 defense this year and possibly #1. They have a lot of talent on that side of the ball even with the injuries they've had.

Having said that, I'd be very surprised if Buffalo makes the same mistakes Baltimore made yesterday and I don't think it's a hot take to say Tua probably won't throw for 400+ and 6 TDs again next week. I think our defense will make things much harder for Tua than Baltimore did. Hill, Waddle, and to an extent, Gesicki, are good enough that they might still be successful against us but obviously we're rightfully confident our offense will put up points too.

Long story short: Buffalo remains the better team, but Miami should have a good chance at making the playoffs IMO and I think both Tua and their defense are better than a lot of Bills fans give them credit for. I'd be disappointed and a little surprised if we lose next week, but Miami is a good team; they're probably going to beat some good teams like they did yesterday.

Hmm, having a hard time with this. On paper vs actual play, the latter wins out and it's not even close. That defense has played 2 garbage offenses despite what Tua did. If they don't understand it takes playing 4 quarters of football and executing, neither on paper or actual play matters, they'll lose. They played not to lose and got hung for it. Not sure how anyone could remotely even think Baltimore's defense might be better than ours let alone actually say it

If they would have let the running game get going, in theory play action would have made it even harder on the secondary.  Didn't seem to make a differene.

But that run game may be the difference between an ring and no ring.....

Couldn't agree more, but the Titans were selling out for the run most of the night. Even after Josh kept the death by 1000 cuts approach goin, they still acted like we had Jim Brown in his prime in our backfield

If the Bills do not demonstrate that they can run the ball, all season long , it will come back to bite them in the late season & playoffs, ya can’t be a one dimensional team against the good teams, jmo.

    Go Bills!!!

I get why they went away from the run against the Titans, which just drives Vrabel's nickname home even further as he painfully found out. I think this week with no Donald or Simmons to worry about, they'll open up the run game more and it'll probably be more productive. I just hope Singletary gets the majority of the touches
