  1. Not to this face, punch-worthy: https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/patriots/tom-bradys-latest-instagram-video-doesnt-need-words
  2. The Super Bowl is all about the food, and after a few beers, I don't pay too much attention to the game, anyway. Until the Bills get into one...
  3. You can fill out the survey even if you don't get it emailed to you. Here's one link based on a google search, I'm sure there are others: https://www.whec.com/news/buffalo-bills-survey/5204151/
  4. Have Allen throw short to medium passes w/crossing patterns the entire game. Win, lose or draw, doesn't matter.
  5. Allen's going to get injured doing what he's doing: trying to single-handedly carry a team w/o an o-line, running game or WRs. Given that this year is now about developing Allen, why not tell him: stay in the pocket on every pass play, and either complete the pass or throw it away before you get hit. No designed runs, no scrambles to avoid sacks. It gives him the practice he needs in the pocket. Granted, very likely to lose all three games going forward with this strategy, but the best thing for Allen? - I think so.
  6. Me neither - listen pretty regularly, never once heard him hang up on someone. And is he a "corporate shill" - the guy' s salary is paid for by the Bills, that's no secret. Given who's paying his check, his coverage is skewed positive but fairly balanced, but he - gently - criticizes players and decisions frequently.
  7. When a job is offered to an OC like Daboll, can/do/should the head coach extract a promise to stay at least two years?
  8. From KC fans perspective: https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?s=9c19586e3fe3ba793c75cab533848a6f&t=319337
  9. The good news is that Allen's a smart dude who learns from his mistakes - next time, he'll set up right, his receivers will have worked on what to do/where to go in a scramble - and hopefully, it's in a game where the end of Q4 really matters, i.e. not Bill-Dolphins 2018.
  10. Chad Pennington on 1 Bills Live had the following thought: Allen's next step is to learn to be a three dimensional thrower, that is, learning to put arc on the ball to get it over a defender that's immediately between the QB and his receiver.
  11. Eh, if you're looking for insight, keep looking. The Sports Bar is pretty lowest-common-denominator sports fare.
  12. I agree. I don' t buy the argument that if you don't like it, don't listen, and eventually that's fed back to station management via ratings. Nor is it realistic to boycott sponsors simply because a WGR host is an insufferable douche. I listen to Schopp and Bulldog very rarely now - just to see if their producer has gotten them to change their approach. I tuned in last evening to one minute of the show, which happened to be the minute where Bulldog was venting about getting roasted on Twitter for blaming Allen for the bad pass. I heard enough. WGR reads these posts - as do Schopp and the Bulldog as well, I'm sure. Expressing our displeasure here about their intellectually-dishonest show and Schopp's often rude and hostile treatment of listeners - is warranted, and hopefully brings about a change at WGR.
  13. I've given up listening to their afternoon show and their post-game, but drop in from time to time to see if the producers have urged them to change their approach - I dropped in yesterday for one minute, only to hear Bulldog complaining about the listeners dumping on him for his anti-Allen stance in the final play. No, they haven't changed - their take is consistent, consistently-negative that is, Bulldog sounds cowed by Schopp and responds accordingly. Together, they lack any shred of balance or intellectual honesty. A disservice to the fans. So, I'll check in on their show next year, if they still have one...
  14. Haven't seen this posted elsewhere ... on the One Bills Drive yesterday, Dan Orlovsky - ESPN commentator and persistent Allen doubter both on various WGR shows and off, said "he was wrong" before about Allen being unable to succeed at the NFL level. Frankly, I was impressed that a talking-head actually admitted to being wrong - I've never seen or heard it before.
  15. Tre White would LOVE having another LSU cornerback - he's the world's biggest LSU fan - then he'll give us a big hometown discount to stay here?
  16. On WGR, Greg Cosell says absolutely you start Allen - he had Barkley as a 4th rounder when he came out - not enough arm strength to be an NFL starter.
  17. Not that he knows as much as some of the TBD pundits, but Greg Cosell is on WGR, saying Barkley has a limited skill set, not starter material - and that the Bills should absolutely start Allen - he needs game time. .
  18. "atrocious and petty" - yes, that pretty well describes Sully and Gleason...
  19. But who's decision is it cut a QB - is that entirely on the coach[es], or does a coach confer with a GM? Same question for all roster personal - is the GM's job just to bring in the best talent he can that's a scheme-fit, and then after that, the roster's on the coach?
  20. Plus 1 - one of few posts worth reading every week in a sea of crap.
