  1. Good stuff. I'd like to see the man games lost to starters. The AV metric is interesting, but that all depends on how they measure AV.
  2. The only real metric here is the number of man games lost to starting players. If you're going to mellow it out by somehow injecting the record, then it's not a real measure of the "healthiest" team. The Bills are far from the 6th "healthiest" team. What they are is leading the league in roster depth. If you line up the games lost to starters and then look at the records, I bet the Bills would be #1 by a wide margin. Unfortunately, I can't find any injury data on a league-wide basis, broken down by team.
  3. I begrudgingly gave him a game ball for the Chefs game. But 13 seconds still stings. The Lombardi was ours for the taking.
  4. Here I thought it meant Don Off-Topic Reply....
  5. Doug Whaley created my screen name when he unceremoniously cut Fred Jackson. I'm also paying tribute to Curtis Mayfield.
  6. You missed the GDT. Plenty of bench him, trade him, cut him posts there. This thread is just piling on. I especially liked the ones that said he shouldn't suit up for the SB if we get there. I disagree that benching him helped, and I disagree that he has a long and diverse history of mental errors. He does have a long history of making plays, first downs, and clutch catches and runs. No problem with giving Shakir more touches, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel on McKittrick. He's earned some slack with me, but clearly a lot of posters here don't want him anywhere near the field.
  7. By way of explanation, many of us on this board started calling Brady "Marcia" due to the incessant whining to the refs on every single play. No matter the Cheats are up by four TD's, Brady's still lobbying the refs for some bull#### call just so they could run up the score even more. When Vince Wilfork took out JP's knee, no big deal. Next season, Brady's knee is hit the same way, we gotta make a rule. This POS pisses me off, and anyone showing any sympathy for Brady pisses me off even more. There, I feel better.
  8. Read the last half of the rule book, which shows the approved rulings, which apply the rule book and clarify.
  9. We're just gonna disagree. McKittrick has made enough plays for me while here to be cutting him some slack. I just don't understand those that want him gone. We won the freaking AFC East last year because of him! There's just way too much "what have you done for me lately" around here for my taste.
  10. The bolded is incorrect. Josh did not fumble the snap, the ball never hit the ground. He muffed the snap, and the rule says that as long as he afterwards fields it cleanly without fumbling (ball hitting the ground), he can still spike the ball. Josh ***** up. The number of talking heads on the broadcast saying otherwise does not make it right. They don't even know the rules of the sport they're paid millions to comment on. Siran Neal had a ridiculously bad game, with the JuJu TD and two defensive holding calls. Where are the calls for Wrap to be run outta town?
  11. With the 4th pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select Sammy Watkins, Wide Receiver, Clemson Khalil Mack, Linebacker, State University of Buffalo. All the bad karma from Dougie Whaley will finally be expunged. Come to Butt....err, Buffalo....
  12. Been calling Brady by the name Marcia for as long as I've been on this board. Let me be clear that this cheating piece of ***** prick deserves every bad thing coming their way. Does that make my position more clear?
  13. Why would anybody care about this POS? If she's aged 5 years in the past year, good! Marcia deserves any ***** coming down the pike as payback for all that cheating. ***** her and the house she lives in!
  14. Sorry, not buying it. It took me two hours to review every Saffold play and grade it. That's 44 hours for every player, and I doubt he's up around the clock. To get it done by Wednesday strains credulity.
  15. The Saffold Report vehemently disagrees with the C+ given to Saffold by the All-22. Saffold effectively erased Chris Jones whenever he went against him, while Quessenberry gave up multiple pressures and a sack to Chris Jones on the tripping play. Saffold's guy only made the tackle twice, on reach blocks where he missed. Every other time he blocked his guy straight up. Did the false start knock him down a grade or 2? I don't get it. How does he get the same grade as Quessenberry?
  16. I did The Edmunds Report a ways back. Once I was convinced he was OK, I stopped. The haterz were dug in deep and did not want to hear anything positive about Edmunds. It's also a lot of work to do this, takes at least two hours to replay the tape and writeup each play. Once I was convinced, I didn't need to keep doing it. I took up The Ford Report because I needed to figure out if he sucked as bad as they said. He had a terrible game against the Jagoffs, but settled down to have serviceable games after that. But serviceable was all he was, and once Jose was healthy, Ford was back on the bench.
  17. Gag, Ack, Barf..... I can't 'splain that 42.3 Luthy. I'm guessing that PFF has a grading system that skews negative plays, like his false start penalty, the pressure he gave up to 51, and his missed reach blocks. That's why I don't like skewing negative plays and giving them greater emphasis.
  18. I'm trying not to skew the grade with a single bad play. You can't expect an OL to be perfect. Giving up a sack is a negative play, but giving it a -5, for example, puts too much emphasis on a bad play. Should a pancake block get a +3? I gave him an A because the guy he was going against rarely made the play to stop the runner, and he only gave up one pressure. The grade is completely subjective, I don't base it on the overall +/- rating.
