Last year, I hated Dabollocks, as I glossed him. But credit where credit is due, Brian Daboll coached the ***** out of the Giants, and got them to the playoffs with a very ho-hum roster, DJ at QB, and one All Pro in Saquon Barkley. Dude is a witch, and would be my choice for NFL Coach of the Year. Chapeau. 🎩

I think the big problem the NFL is facing is that they've likely never anticipated this situation. A player's life is threatened on the field, and what to do about the game. The logistics of moving a game 24 hours, all the TV, advertising, personnel, teams, equipment, venue, fans, tickets, etc. They do OK with a few days warning, like the Bills games moving to DET, but what to do about a game in progress? Let alone a game this big with huge playoff implications. A Bills forfeit would be the most expedient solution. Moving the game more than 24 hours impacts next week's games, so what to do? Like the line in Apollo 13, "This isn't a contingency we even remotely considered." But nobody cares about all that. We just care about DH. The rest be damned.

One issue to me is that Josh is just not hitting the long ball cleanly. He underthrew SmokeY and McKittrick (for the INT). I'd rather see him overthrow them once in a while to avoid the bad result. The other issue is that our WR's/TE's just aren't making plays consistently. Dropped balls, poor/incorrect routes, no YAC, none of which is on Josh. Yet we keep winning. If we eliminate the mistakes, we're going to dominate and win by 2-4 TD's again. I'm looking for that tonight.
