  1. Cox should have just bear hugged him there.
  2. Cue the "WTF doesn't Tie-rod Taylor get more love from Bills Mafia?" thread. He helps to end the drought and then put up that turd of a disgusting WC playoff game. AND WE LOST TO DOUG *****IN' MAROON!!! There, I feel better.
  3. I love this movie!!! I grew up in NT, about 10 minutes from Buffalo Ave. where the missile plant and presidential motorcade scenes were shot. A friend of mine from Buffalo was working in Indiana when this movie came out. He went to the movie and was laughing his ass off, but nobody else in the theater was laughing. The ultimate inside joke movie only for Americans who had been exposed to the Canadian culture and people. "Anne Murray. All day, every day."
  4. We'd have a win against the Broncos, that's for sure. *****in' McDummy.... Butbutbut....too slow.... The answer to that riddle is McDummy choking the one-score games away.
  5. OMG Dude!!!! Laughing so hard I'm crying here!!!! Fantastic reference!!!
  6. Firing McDummy doesn't automatically mean that McBeane gets fired. He's an OK GM, not great, a few too many misses for my taste (Elam, Boogie, Motor, Moss, etc.), but some real hits as well (Benford, Groot, Bernard, Williams, etc.). As pointed out elsewhere, the roster is in need of overhaul in any event, to address both age and cap space. Getting a new coach does not automatically mean that the drought days are back. We have the most important thing we need, Josh Allen, the best QB in the NFL (YEAH, I SEDDIT!!!). Any coach worth their salt would be chomping at the bit to coach Josh. I don't dislike McDummy at all, he's probably a swell guy. But I can't take any more stupid coaching decisions that lose us the close games. He's fine when we win by 3+ TD's, but he chokes when the game is one score or less difference. We need someone that doesn't lose it in close games. I taped and watched every minute of the pre-game shows this weekend. All discussed Dorsey's firing, and all of them discussed McDummy calling two 0 blitzes back to back, the one on 3rd down which resulted in the DPI on TJ, basically handing the game to the Broncos. The next comment was "But Dorsey had to go". Based on Brady's performance yesterday, McDummy may have been vindicated in that decision, but his in-game decisions still suck donkey dick.
  7. And you were doing so well.... You're probably right, McDummy won't be going anywhere barring an 0-6 finish (a guy can dream, can't he?). You're absolutely right that the roster is in need of an overhaul, but we have good pieces in key places.
  8. We'll have to go 2-1 against the Chefs, Iggles, Fish, which makes Dallas a must win. Cynthia Frelund's model only had the Bills at 40% to make the playoffs with a win today, and she's projecting that the Bills won't be there. If we miss the playoffs, McDummy must go. If we make it and go out round 1, I still want him gone. I would only bring him back if we have a good showing in the AFCCG (even in a loss, unless he does something stupid again) and if we make the Super Bowl, win or lose.
  9. The bigger record is that Josh just passed Joe Ferguson for 2nd place on the at least 3 TD passes in a game list for a Bills QB. He's at 23, just 7 behind Jim Kelly.
  10. I didn't find the officiating particularly awful. They missed a few, and there were a few ticky tack calls, but they got the major ones right, like Sauce holding Diggs in the EZ, and later supplexing him long after the play was over. Martin needs to go. His line drive punts directly down the middle of the field are killing us. We really need to bring in Matt Araiza, for so many reasons, not the least of which is making it right and helping this young man reclaim his good name. We owe him at least that much. Bass has done enough here to earn the benefit of the doubt. He nailed that 50 yarder with tons of room to spare, so I let him work out his issues.
  11. Will disagree on that. When Romo first started, he knew what the play would be from the formation and the defense. He called the audibles that the QB called and had the game mapped out, then he explained why he was such a Nostradamus. I learned a ton listening to him early in his career. CBS told him to stop doing that, so now he's a JAG as an analyst. You learn practically nothing from listening to him. I wish he would go back to telling us exactly what play was coming.
  12. I would nominate Cook as a better pick than Reuben. More versatile as a runner/receiver, more explosive.
  13. Buy a Consonant is in the McDoghouse. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
  14. You were tied for the bronze, but lost to the 29-12 score, since I use closer to the Bills score as a tiebreaker. Sorry.
  15. Interesting factoid on ESPN. Josh Allen just passed Joe Ferguson for most 3 passing TD games as a Bills QB with 23. Jim Kelly leads that category at 30. I say Josh beats that by the end of the 2024 season.
  16. Watching the highlights on ESPN, after the Ty Johnson 4th down TD, Joe Brady is like "***** YEAH!!!!". Saleh afterward just completely deflated in his press conference was absolutely delicious.
  17. Congratulations to all who picked the Bills, well done! With the final score of Bills 32, Jest 6, the winners are: Gold - @Over 29 years of fanhood 31-13, for a total difference of 8 points (tie breaker closer to the Bills score) Silver - @Maine-iac 28-10, for a total difference of 8 points Bronze - @LewPort71 29-12, for a total difference of 9 points (tie breaker closer to Bills score) See you all next week.
  18. I chose others, limit myself to three O, three D. It's no fun if I name them all.
