My favorite restaurant is a Chinese Cantonese one, Mark's Duck House, and we go there only for Dim Sum for lunch. This is a restaurant which still has the ladies (it used to be mostly younger girls) bring carts around to each table. Somethings we order each time - 2 or 3 plates of Shrimp Noodle Crepe (my daughter's favorite) 2 plates of Bean Sheet Roll (my favorite), some chicken feet (my wife's), Baked Roast Pork Bun Char Siu Bao, sticky rice, etc. and then whatever suits our fancy depending on how hungry we are. One issue with restaurant is a number of my wife's friends and women who she manages works there during weekend and they will insist on giving her extra stuff to go which makes my wife uncomfortable. The owner also keeps wanting my wife to work there on weekends which she has no interest in doing or at least not until she retires from her full time job.

Even earlier if you include pulps which many comics are based upon, For TV series I understand most do not have the budget which is a valid excuse but for some movies it seems they have taken little but name(s) and some abilities. Superman the Movie was pretty good until in later episodes superman was throwing his shield. in the first X-Men movie director makes a bad joke about comic uniforms and has mixed character from different eras like a smorgasbord and X-Men: First Class was worse. Wolverine: You actually go outside in these things? Cyclops: Well, what would you prefer? Yellow spandex? With the Avengers they choose smorgasbord roster again and have Avengers formed by SHIELD. In the Green Hornet movie adaption it is worse than the comics with the primary protagonist being a joke which makes since only because primary actor wanted to make a comedy at first. Recent when looking thru some pulp adaptations I found this Captain Marvel adaptation which tops the list. It resembles little of the comic books of the periods other than name of main character Billy Batson (who is played by a 25 year old former child actor) and the powers being given to him by wizard Shazam. Rather than be empowered in a US City he is empowered in a mystical Thai valley and his archeologist party is ambushed by natives in basically a war picture with Billy Batson shooting a gun as both myself and in his alter ego who uses a machine gun to kill opponents. Not really see why some use conics as basis when evidently they do not like original concepts and stories.

The issue is the broadcasting networks are primary source of revenue for teams these days not fans in the stands. There is agreement between NFL and broadcasting networks to cooperate and some coaches do refuse which makes their jobs more difficult. NFL should fine coaches who do not cooperate - if they say there is not enough time then add time to half time another 5 minutes and this gives everyone - players, team staff, fans in stands more time to do what they need to do.
