  1. Living in Washington DC area I heard these comments many times from Washington players who played for the team at the time. Many used to hang out at Grevey's, which was a sports bar created by a retired Washington basketball player. He did not just stick his foot in his mouth by those comments; he stuck one of size 18 cleats in it and the other one elsewhere. RIP (Rot in Pieces) UpChuck DICKerson.
  2. Remember having to sign a NDA once for a presentation but since I knew what it was about I signed it "Wile E Coyote, Supergenius". No one looked at the papers. Later there was a comment that someone signed it with phony signature but they guessed since everyone was there who was supposed to it likely was an extra they printed someone just stuck a signature on to be funny. Done same thing in doctor's office when they presented something I was required to sign at appointment but if I cancelled appointment they would charge me a cancellation fee.
  3. Airplane is probably directly related to lack of direct flights from Buffalo. This results in longer flights and layovers players do not like. Type of planes serving Buffalo too. Buffalo Airport is much easier to access than many others but may not have the high end shops some players want. Having to fly to England this year did not help. And Bills should stop charging players for peanuts. Bunt. Avoiding three strikes you are out. or kickbacks to vote collectors.
  4. If you pay to see someone's mock draft you should be mocked. Maybe ESPN is now paying its writers on ESPN+ only for number of subscribers who read. Like some workers who get paid in tips only.
  5. I hope he has crypt next to Eugene Parker.
  6. Can you get a draft pick for tampering when it is initiated by Bills player Hamlin?
  7. Disagree about the whole removing special teams some want which is should be no surprise since only signed jersey I have is Steve Tasker's and a book personally signed by Marv Levy to me, a book which has nothing to do with football. But if you wanted to leave the "foot" in football you could change yards to feet on the field.....
  8. Yes he was excellent in that role. It was out of character casting which did very well for film..
  9. AJ Epenesa was due to repeating different directions on what they wanted his weight to be starting with the season without team workouts due to COVID-19. Despite the help of the Bills he seemed to get more help from his sister, a nutritionist. Some of the stuff is in the Athletic article (Joe Buscaglia, Sep 17, 2022) and today this article is available to me. https://theathletic.com/3600859/2022/09/17/bills-aj-epenesa/ I do hope they can find a way to keep him. Bills like to send defense linemen in waves to keep them fresh but that also drives up the cost of line and slows down development. I liked it when Bills had defense linemen who could stay on field like Bruce Smith and Phil Hansen. Dwight Freeney was another good example of a smaller DE who could take the pounding.
  10. Clearly the rule needs to be cleaned up - on windy days when someone needs to HOLD the ball that player will need to move.
  11. My job was limited to deliveries - picking up parts in Fairfax factory and returning to factory with components sewn by my wife. The designer is Karla Colletto and my wife worked on swimsuit in 1992 SI issue, first one they were in. Their swimsuits (and these are swimsuits you can actually wear in water) were in most of the SI Swimsuit Issues I have seen. Only handling I did when I got a surplus swimsuit for a MSGT's daughter for a pool party she went to. He recently sent me a message saying his grand daughter wore it again at an event she was part of, Very good quality workmanship.
  12. Never see Beane clapping. Someone needs to update eye glasses prescription.
  13. So the K2-Gun will be named after Kincaid - you knew the K-Gun was named after Bills TE not Kelly, right?
  14. Only if he can do a commercial. He will allow Patty to be his second as Patty does for him.
  15. I wonder if that is partly reason for retiring. They may have cut expenses (save them form private equity handlers), travel, etc. I wonder how soon before they sell the SI Swimsuit issue to someone else. My wife worked on several of the swimsuits in issues when she was a tailor.
  16. Been saying that since his "retirement" although post retirement he came back to help.
  17. I am sure you thought he should have joined the band,
  18. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/patriots-longtime-staffer-says-he-will-take-specific-spygate-details-to-the-grave/ Sort of useless to document something which good portion reported of it is false. No surprise the Director of Cheating, Spying and Dirty tricks will take it to the grave. As stated by GOAT Cheating coach "If you are not cheating you are not trying hard enough."
  19. His mistake was posting about find on TikTok. His laywer could try to take contract to small claims court looking for some way storage company made a mistake which would make the sale an illegal one. Some items were left in a rental property of mine and they tried to get it back. Normally I'd oblige but they damaged the house a lot on way out with us guessing it was due to being evicted for failure to pay rent repeatedly. We also had dated film showing damage to property. They gave up on recovering items whose cost did not cover repairs.
  20. I doubt the JESTS will find fairy dust.
  21. They were in cap hell before they signed Derek Carr.
  22. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/andy-reid-contract-chiefs-expected-to-make-3-time-super-bowl-champion-highest-paid-coach-in-nfl-per-report/ Kraft is cheap. Quote: Back-to-back Super Bowl championships are more than enough to warrant a contract extension between Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs. Reid and the Chiefs are in the beginning stages of working out a contract extension that would make Reid the highest-paid head coach in the NFL, per NFL Network. General manager Brett Veach is also in line for a new deal, replacing the final two years on the contracts the duo signed following the 2019 season after the Chiefs' win in Super Bowl LIV.
