  1. Which is why you sign player in training camp and cut last cutdown day. Sign week 2.
  2. It was due to Fitzpatrick working with him when neither were starters and Fitzpatrick understanding that Stevie made it to the throw points but did not necessary run route as designed but adjusted route to what he saw on field. It took a QB of Fitzpatrick's intelligence to see what he was doing. Revis, who was best CB the Bills faced on a regular basis, made Revis look like a rookie.. https://vault.si.com/vault/2013/11/04/the-case-for-stevie-johnson Richard Sherman also had issues covering him and acknowledged he was a great WR. I think Stevie's issue was he did not do a lot of work in offseason and it hampered his performance as he got older.
  3. Maybe they can save money using you as a tackling dummy and not pay rentals on the dummies.
  4. I would assume they have more acknowledge of who they want to keep and who they want to replace but that just may be me.
  5. I think he is a player who still has plays left but not a lot. His concern about other players knowing the offensive concepts more than him means he needs to be on a team with concepts he is familiar with since he will not get a lot of reps. He needs a OC who is good teacher and can find a few routes he can be called on to play which will be specialized for him. Considering salary he got from Baltimore I am guessing he will be looking for a veteran minimum salary which is doable if he can show enough in training camp.
  6. I think it has partially due to they have had some rest. Being a HC or GM takes a lot of hours and a bit fewer during this period.
  7. Another non-payfence article on "How Bills helped Ron Rivera, Washington Football Team’s rebuild in 2020" https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2021/02/how-bills-helped-ron-rivera-washington-football-teams-rebuild-in-2020.html
  8. Both Beane and Coach McD seemed more relaxed in interviews post season.
  9. Teams are allowed to negotiate with the agents of prospective unrestricted free agents during a two-day period beginning March 15 at noon Eastern Time and ending at 4 p.m. ET on March 17.
  10. I think it is like in criminal organizations it is finding someone who will keep their mouth shut even if they are being interrogated by NFL, suspended, swamped by reporters, etc.
  11. Beane is one of us. PFF makes his pants yellow. Oh and Collinsworth seems to be Sherman's agent and appears to be warning Bills if you do not sign Sherman PFF will be bashing you all season.
  12. My opinion has little to do regarding KC game. I was on my way to friend's house to watch game with him and a car pulled out of lane in front of me causing an accident. The driver went between complaining about her baby to dodging about letting me copy insurance card. Needed to call my wife in for support / witness and after that I was in no mood to watch game at friend's and ruin his mood. Bills in 2020 had trouble running in short yardage situations especially when it was not Josh running and teams were accounting for his running as season progressed. I think the OL coach has done a good job especially with turnover and OL man Quitin'. Kromer was good at getting a poorly improving line to play well. Kromer was dumped with rest of Ryan's coaches and many of the replacement coaches were not very good so it is not a reflection on his ability.
  13. Ironic statement due to your alias and extra-strong virus variant B.1.427/B.1.429 there. And have charges dismissed but press only cover the interesting part.
  14. It was not very long but here is relevant info: Here is SI version: https://www.si.com/nfl/rams/news/la-rams-offensive-line-coach-aaron-kromer-moves-on
  15. It has run blocking issues and Kromer has experience on those type of schemes. There were times the Bills needed to run and could not.
  16. Not sure if he would accept another role but his OL was good when he was here. Another coach, Aaron Kromer, is leaving Sean McVay’s Rams staff https://www.latimes.com/sports/rams/story/2021-02-18/another-coach-aaron-kromer-leaving-rams-staff LA Rams Finalize Coaching Staff With New Hires, Promotions https://www.pro32.ap.org/article/la-rams-finalize-coaching-staff-new-hires-promotions IMO the Bills need another coach providing input on running game whether he is senior offensive assistant or assistant OC.
  17. Jets Hire Scarnecchia, Who Has Ties To 2 NFL Video Scandals https://www.pro32.ap.org/article/jets-hire-scarnecchia-who-has-ties-2-nfl-video-scandals Yes Josh McDaniels who comes from Billicheat's coaching tree. Billicheat has 2 trees - one coaching and one on video data gathering.
  18. Quite familiar with word. My favorite series is Robert Asprin's Myth Series which uses a pun in title. Disagree based on what was seen on field. It would help but reason why he was let go has been buried deeper than Jimmy Hoffa (whose skeletal remains were found in Win Dixie site).
  19. Why should he regret filming that tape of you? It did not break the camera.
  20. Actually it is a miss - a miss in resigning him to a new contract although from numbers Bills wisely back loaded it.
  21. Despite many historians trying to say that eating chicken wings originated in Buffalo it is not true. Chicken wings and every other part of chicken including feet were eaten by Chinese for many decades before Buffalo Wings were invented. My mother-in-law made a trip from Hong Kong once and we travelled to Buffalo where my wife's family met mine. One of the meals we ordered were from Pizza and Wings place in Blasdell to bring back to hotel. My wife told her that they were Buffalo style wings and she ate them fine (no blue cheese). She told my wife she had been eating chicken wings since she was a little girl and she was 95 when she died in late 2019. Chicken wings used to be street food in Hong Kong long before it was a dish in Buffalo. There are many excellent chicken wings dishes. I have had Coca-Cola wings from restaurants there which use Coca-Cola as basis for sauce and that has been going on for at least 60 years. It was started when Coca-Cola was introduced there after WWII and from there to China. These days they use Mexican Coca-Cola since it has sugar not corn sweetener. I have had chicken wings stuffed with birds nest and deep fried. Very good. I have had Pupu chicken wings in Hawaii. Also very good. Let each eat chicken wings as they wish but no dipping in ranch dressing or mayonnaise.
