  1. Not always. A clock which is stopped working probably is but a broken one may be so broke you not even tell what time it was broke at. Here is one I have at home:
  2. Are you an immigrant to Canada? Every native Canadian I have known (even Quebec Nordiques fans) would know the Exclusive Suck P*ts Network would consider honesty and integrity be attributes employees are required to NOT have.
  3. Some are more happy being miserable and spreading it around. I love how he talks about working on his feet every day. It shows. I would not be surprised if he was one of those people who work with a juggler ball using their feet.
  4. I agree but it sort of fits - a 1st round player which dropped to 2nd round being taken by team which had no 1st round pick and got into the Hall of Fame on 2nd try. 1-2-1-2 And not being taken in 1st round was a chip on his shoulder Thurman had entire career.
  5. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/29533526/players-opting-2020-nfl-season-coronavirus-concerns-tracking-full-list There were two types of opt outs last year - one where player basically says "I want to take a sabbatical" and is given a loan which NFLPA will dispute whether they need to repay and those whose health could be in danger and were given a stipend which they did not not need to repay. Also with one year of college Gregory Rousseau I do not believe he was eligible for draft last year. Players have fought and lost battles against NFL on this issue.
  6. Spain was not starter week for in LA but did play more snaps than starter Winters. He was returning to Tennessee which he played before and was told he was not starting and then he suffered a mysterious foot aliment. He was then released without an injury settlement. He obviously did not like being benched although he liked the money they were paying him. The two backs together do not make Fred Jackson. He was our most Thurman like back since Thurman.
  7. Does not have a ghost of a chance of sticking on roster. Kelvin : Four-million dollars? Dave Gettleman: Yes. Four-million dollars. And, um, how would you like that, Mr. Benjamin? Kelvin : Tens and twenties? Dave Gettleman: No, a cashier's check!
  8. Would not the four of them make a nice divsion? He was not signed with Bills so evidently he did not show enough to bring to camp. His practice squad contract with the team expired after the season on February 1, 2021
  9. Better copyright it before film breakdown guys start using it.
  10. His best chance is to get Bills to take him off international exemption list. Bills would have to choose between losing him from practice squad, not a big loss if he cannot make roster, or keeping him on international exemption list for third season and by this point it is not a positive for PR which is all it has been. On PS he could be escalated for a game like they have done for other players to see how well he can play against real competition with limited snaps.
  11. Quote from After M*A*S*H Pilot episode: Mrs. Sherman Potter (Mildred) to her husband: Do you remember when we moved into this house? I had no wrinkles and a bustline you could chin yourself on.
  12. https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/05/13/gameplan-how-2021-schedule-was-built-week-18-tv-networks Long article with a number of good nuggets but format makes it hard to read. Ads make it hard to read so I just "print it" (right click => print) reading the preview. I used to be able to add format=print control on link to format but that does not work currently. #13 was the lucky one so if Bills win Superbowl Bills fans should adapt it as their lucky number. Now games are free agents. What is next, referees? Obviously they did something wrong since teams, 5th estate and fans like to complain more than most anything. Good offseason planning schedule follows that quote. Only England this year and back-to-back games. They should have given Jaguars 2 home or away games. Isn't ironic that Jaguar is also a British automotive brand? I hope the "final word" never occurs due to injury, arrest or forced retirement.
  13. yes and they should be compensation by union not teams but they tried to blame NFL and teams for bad advice. As I have said often the NFLPA is called "partner" but they do not act like it.
  14. I was thinking of posting a Star Trek red shirt image myself. Paramount even changed command shirts to red in answer to fans asking if red shirts meant disposable characters.
  15. Yes the Bills will work on getting the smell out during OTAs and mini-camps.
  16. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2021-nfl-draft-marquee-rookies-who-need-a-redshirt-year-with-trey-lance-and-gregory-rousseau-leading-way/ Clearly CBS opinion writer "Chris Trapasso" including him on his list of players needing "redshirt" years is colored by his mock draft. On a team which did not rotate defense line as much as Bills did it would be different. I certainly would not have picked him for I dislike teams even drafting juniors but I do not see why Bills would not use him in a rotation without an injury in camp putting him on IR. Bills can choose to put him in situations where he will able to contribute and get real snaps to learn. And I disagree with his assessment of his production which he does not say but means sacks. [NOTE: I do think NFL should continue with IR policy of last year. Players were kept who would have been released with injury designations in other years.]
  17. Unions can be sued and its officers can be sued just like corporation officers. It is likely the NFLPA has coverage for its officers for these type of lawsuits.
  18. Ja'Wuan James considering grievance to recoup potential lost 2021 salary from Denver Broncos, source says https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31449350/jawuan-james-considering-grievance-recoup-potential-lost-2021-salary-source-says This is NFL's reaction to NFLPA telling players to not go to NFL teams facilities due to "risk of COVID" while at same time not allowing teams to make it mandatory.
  19. Ryan Fitzpatrick is good putting players in position to do well and when the combo ends the WR goes back to ordinary.
  20. Perfect answer to that in earlier post.
  21. Some look better with masks on. May I suggest a Melpomene mask?
  22. I used to take my family to preseason games for the actual games were too crazy. I was lucky some friends had front row seats in section 219 and the kids would not have someone standing in front of them all game. Heat is usually less at night than during opener. One opener I got heat stroke and they were out of water. My brother finally convinced them to give him some ice to cool me down.
