Tua throws 5 picks on first day of Dolphins mini camp
Saxum replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both Alex Smith and Andy Dalton were long term starting QBs which in many years did not have much support from coaches or team so that is wrong model. Tua's best chance is he has a head coach which comes from a coaching tree which sportsmanship is devalued and cheating is looked as a virtue. -
WFT having difficulties trade marking the name
Saxum replied to TroutDog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It would be very ironic for the team which was last to integrate. Like $nyder did saying "name would never change" the previous owner said he would never integrate. NFLPA would object. Washington had slaves. -

It is too weird for me - makes Africa look like largest continent. -

If he signed a multi-year contact now it would be less than in a year or two if his career continues on the rise. -

If you are going to include discs with maps like that you need multiple view sets not just north pole and south pole. -

I agree about keeping it unknown. Have thought of New Zealand as place I'd like to retire - quiet, temperate climate, English speaking, good breweries -but there is the difficulty and cost of getting medical care overseas. -
Highmark stadium cleared for full capacity

People can sue for anything, even breaking out the popcorn because they are allergic. That is why there are laywers. Does not mean much. -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highmark_Stadium_(New_York) Wind is easy to handle - the stadium was designed to reduce wind but they needed to change orientation of the stadium which resulted in the wind amplification effects. If stadium was not built into ground, as likely for new stadium, the stadium would be higher and they could increase it with a wind wall as well as texture which absorbed/scattered rather than deflected wind. Another advantage not building into ground they can build a better field since drainage will be better.

The Minnesota Vikings stadium seems ideal as long as it can sustain WNY winter which is different than Minnesota's. Minneapolis is colder but gets less snow (54.0 in) on average than Buffalo (89.2 in) which has less than Orchard Park. in November 2014 seven feet of snow fell in Buffalo Southtowns. Reported snow totals from both rounds of lake-effect snow was 71 inches in Orchard Park between Nov. 17 and Nov. 21, 2014.

A friend of mine, a professional architect who is now deceased, was asked to submit a idea design for a stadium to Bills. It was an open roof type stadium with but had a dome style shape with roof designed to help snow fall off top and pile along edges. Beautiful design wish I could describe better but definitely not type of roof old Dallas stadium had. He designed the new "Buffalo Wing" at Jimmy's Old Town Tavern.

That is not what I am saying. I am saying if the retractable roof is not strong enough to support snow during season and playoffs and needs to be left open to prevent damage then the fans are losing advantage of roof. I am very aware of the argument that snow is not advantage to Bills players anymore.

It makes so much sense to me that it is called the Lone Star tick. Nature's response to Texans. -
His character just seemed type to die from dementia. Ironic that he died from Lewy body type.
-
It would better if it was a map by metropolitan area. The cost of a house as example in Buffalo, NYC and Clinton are not close to the same. https://betterbe.co/life/usa-maps/ and some fun facts. My favorite: Being bitten by the Lone Star tick can make you allergic to red meat.

Highmark stadium cleared for full capacity

Charge unwashed masses extra and make sure they have legal options to those who falsify vaccination proof (big thing in Europe) to collect damages including attorney fees. -
Because the cost of a retractable roof stadium able to handle snow in snowbelt of WNY is very expensive and not cost effective. Minnesota's collapsed from 17 inches of snow the Orchard Park has gotten more WET snow than that. If you are saying keep in open in cold weather when chance of snow you are eliminating advantage. Minnesota's replacement stadium is a possibility but that roof is not retractable.
