  1. He was not "maybe the best guard" when he was traded. And Quittin' Spain pretended to get injury on plane because he was not going to start against his old team after being inactive for a game. You are exaggerating to make a point.
  2. When we bought the house on 10/16/1995 there were three TV connections - living room and two master bedrooms. We have had COX and Verizon & FIOS at different times through most of time living here. We are on corner and has it get pulled a few times and each time it was reconnected with no issue. Last time there was significant dip in line and lineman says "That is what you get" resulting in it being pulled again in a few months. When they installed the new cable they also installed a new V6 router whose major benefit is Verizon is running out of addresses. I was told that its benefit is broadcast speed is faster and "it is was only a few dollars more" (per month). I tested TV upstairs and it worked but I did not watch it for an extended period. First time I watched TV it started it started happening. I am wondering if it has anything to do with new IPV6 router. I have never been impressed with Verizon technically and working for them did not improve my impression.
  3. Enjoy being right more than Bills do well, eh?
  4. Well Richard Sherman looks roasted wearing a red jersey but he caught a ball with Josh playing hero ball.
  5. I had a truck hit the cable (Verizon FIOS) to my house knocking cable down and Verizon restored service, second time this year, but this time the TV signal on the cable going to computer room does not work but one in living room does. I can watch TV but the signal keeps cutting out and restoring sometimes muting TV. Verizon says it is an internal issue but I cannot see how a truck taking down cable can affect an internal house cable - there is only one cable coming into the house. It has not affected phone nor FIOS. I need to pay per box so I am going to return cable box in computer room but there is very little TV I watch these days so may just decide to stop TV service although packages for existing customers are not much different between with and without TV. Any ideas?
  6. I had three years of Latin so it is rusty. Does that mean "Ultimate cheater"?
  7. I wonder would with NFL kicker rules today would they allow a barefoot kicker.
  8. All that damage from slipping and falling.
  9. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32838499/tampa-bay-buccaneers-activate-richard-sherman-injured-reserve Stat to know: Bills receiver Stefon Diggs needs 102 receiving yards to reach 1,000 on the season, which would make him the second player in Bills history with 1,000 in consecutive seasons (Stevie Johnson, three straight from 2010 to 2012). Yes he was the Bills FIRST consecutive 1000 yard WR despite all of the disparaging remarks against Stevie and Fritz.
  10. He does only songs he wrote. raremonkees 7.39K subscribers SUBSCRIBE This really is a treat. This is a full video recording of Nez live on the final night of his UK 2012 tour. The team at Monkeebootlegs.com managed to locate several different people who had filmed various bits of the concert from different angles. This footage was handed to the talented elixir101
  11. Twice. PS players can be activated on game day before the team announces their inactives (90 minutes before game time). The player doesn't have to be elevated from the PS to the main roster for the move. This can happen with up to two practice squad players per week. A player is only able to be elevated twice per season. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31869693/nfl-carry-flexible-roster-rules-2021
  12. I got their autograph in a magazine with their picture. I got a question from one: "Do you want me to sign The Turk as well? I have done it enough times I am not sure he could tell the difference." I have two of their CDs for my car as "trip music" I used to listen to on drive to Buffalo.
  13. Sounds like a party out of control more than a brawl since no one filed charges.
  14. Saw three of them (the ones who still wanted to be identified as Monkees without Peter Tork) in a shop when I was in college doing autographs. They had many copies of an album cover (repro I think) stuck on walls and near the end people were taking them down and getting them autographed and I assume it was allowed since no one stopped them from taking them down or getting them autographed.
  15. When ever someone thinks player is "subtly hinted" it is because what that person is thinking and person has no idea how player is thinking.
  16. I went one time and it was like walking thru a steam bath and some I knew said only way to deal with it was to have a garage and run air conditioning before you drive car. I went to Hong Kong in summer and it is hot all day and night when it is not rainy but humidity was high but not as bad and way from main city good breezes.
  17. Aren't those the only months when they ARE nice?
  18. The most important thing the Bills are missing is availability. Due to number of players coming back they were thought to be early leads but they have had so many key players out for games other than QB they have become inconsistent. Coach McD is a big advocate of team first and personal responsibility but there are so many players who are not team first now it is killing the Bills.
  19. My mother collected wooden animals and when she died my sister split her worldly goods and sent me the wooden animals since I purchased most of items my mother had as well as other "animal themed" decorations. We have a few in house and would love to donate them to a charity but most of them sell collected items for pennies on dollar to bulk resellers. I have many boxes of comics I collected from high school to when I stopped after I had my first sustained layoff. Some of them have gone thru multiple moves and not sure where all of the boxes are.
  20. I see a future for her in ads advertising Russian brides.
  21. It is a shame that he got hit by two illnesses at same time for Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is something which has high recovery rates these days. RIP.
  22. I had debate classes in high school as part of model UN and "taking a side you do not necessarily agree with" is part of training. It is useful in politics and law (which basically are same thing to me) because it helps partner in seeing weak points in arguments. However I have never heard a sports talk show doing this and I cannot see most sports personalities being able to do this. If I listened to it I would think it was two professional wrestlers talking. The breaking of the 4th wall is very dangerous in situation you described. Followers follow the talking head whose position mostly matches their own and this type of role playing can lose listeners.
