Like a lot of college QBs he showed a lot and he stayed in college 4 years so maybe they believe he had potential. He is record holder at Texas A&M. They might have insider who knows people at Texas A&M or think his game style matches QBs they have better. Plus he is cheaper.

No my issue is players who want conracts redone early but when they are cutt they do not want Bills to get compensation on cap but I understand you have a different opinion. I also dislike players holding out and then returning to get a year credit after being out 10 games.

I used to follow Sabres a lot when I worked on the road. Many a bar I would make a friend in because we both were watching hockey. I had a bunch of Canadians in Ottowa buying me drinks every time Sabres goalie blocked a shot and fortunately I did not need to work next day.

Just because a poster is a Bills fan (and we do have some contributing and non-contributing other team fans on this board) does not mean posters do not follow other teams. Some have season tickets in other stadiums! I was also a Green Bay fan when Hyde was a free agent and I recommended the Bills sign him before he even visited Buffalo. Note on Vikings: I was offered a job in Minneapolis for a firm which paid for moving expenses. He played in Carolina but after Beane and Coach McD left. Played a lot of games except for 2018 when he had a year off. If he wants to sign for veteran minimum okay or else we can revisit after week 1.
