Clear Coach McDermott can provide input and evaluations to front office but a head coach is supposed not just be a more highly paid defense coordinator. People are going overboard on criticism on McKenzie. Despite a lot of yards his impact was far less than previous years. OC did not have capability of creating plays to take advantage of his unique abilities but hopefully will get better since he will be OC this year.
