I find it odd that Bills/Jests make this trade - swap of late 6th round pick which for Jests it was the Chiefs' 6th round pick. If he has value and Jests trade them to Bills it may benefit them this trade more than Jests will having a little better 6th round pick.

I think most of day today for Bills is getting in touch with agents who may have more than one client on cut list, determine if they have interest coming back to PS and Bills telling them their priority getting player on it and settling any injury concerns. When players are released the agent trickles name to sports writer who will put his name in some sort of post rather than just part of a list.

Tim Patrick worked in obscurity, worked his way up to #3 WR, was rewarded w/3 year contract, injured two years when being paid well, had salary cut to minimum so as not to be cut during training camp/preseason, worked during training camp/preseason at offseason pay rate and then is going to get cut/traded. Reminds me of OL man for Bills who once he got paid did not want to go to camp and finally was booted off team because he did not want to appear as overpaid backup to old team.
