    Again it is college football and not a lot of teams play the same way in college as they do in pros. Teams have to take chances. Same thing happens with every position in NFL.

    He was a good college CB but unable to transition to being a zone CB which he did not play in college. He was signed for his measurables, attitude and college play.

    Elam is a player who does not appear to be able to adjust to Zone defense and he has grabsy hands and does not get away with it like Sauce Gardner did first two years in league.
