(S)Tanking is not just for QBs. If you have been just missing playoffs or just getting in QBs and being knocked out you are picking late every round. A team which knows it is tanking can trade players for picks in following year and then combine those picks with early round picks to pick even earlier.

It depends on defense they design. In playoff game against Ravens Leslie Frazier It designed defense to contain and frustrate Lemar Jackson. Trent Murphy (who had been inactive for last few games and many, many posters on this board were suggesting he be cut) was used to contain him but not rush him since when that is done he usually escapes and creates a long play. He was kept in pocket on that side of field and threat neutralized. Other teams who had players capable of running this defense copied it. It is clownish to insist that players which have not shown anything are solution just because they are younger.

I do not disagree that Dorian Williams needs time on field - it is why he is on roster. Winning needs to come first and with Terrel Bernard getting dinged up and Matt Milano on IR a veteran is needed to help with defense. If Bills offense is able to perform as in three blowouts there will be time for Williams & Dodson and to get experience on the field.

Can Jiants borrow Jest color rush uniforms? They can claim they use same stadium and brought wrong uniforms. They are going to announce new uniforms when they get new stadium. They also will have missing man patches for all those fans who cannot attend because they reduced seating capacity.

Most players are square pegs and defenses need to be adjusted when players are substituted. When Klein was originally substituted defense remained the same until Frazier adjusted it which resulted in Klein getting AFC Defense Player of the week award. Frazier said "he's gotten more comfortable in our system" but the system changed but in beginning it was a straight substitution. A DC needs to adjust his defense to fit the experience and skills of personnel. Wade Phillips was a great DC and the perfect example - there were multiple injuries and he changed defense formation between weeks to adjust for personnel.

I think his strength is run defense unlike some LBs he can catch. He has manned all three LB positions and is very knowledgeable on defense. No learning curve.

I had not thought of that but that would have been admitting that Benford was a better LB than him he was not going to surpass Tyrel Dodson and Dorian Williams on depth chart which I do not think he will not admit.
