    Franchising JJ is not an option. He is not that good, and we don't have that kind of cap space. Furthermore some excellent tackles may hit the open market this year including orlando pace and walter jones.

    I live in Atlanta. I know JJ father. JJ wants to come to the falcons. The falcons need a tackle desperately. They do have the cap room to afford a moderate deal for JJ. Also the falcons may dump Peerless in the offseason after June 1 to free up cap room.

    It would not surprise me if they asked peerless to take a pay cut after this season

    I live in Atlanta and the media here feel peerless is a complete bust. While I don't feel he is a number one receiver, he is being blamed for michael vicks inability to read defenses and throw to his receivers. Overall the falcons grossly overpaid for peerless and Donahoe made a brilliant move to secure a first round pick.

    These guys are not very good and were on the field way too much. Lee Evans should have been on the field more. The best players need to be on the field. We are playing alot of 2 TE sets. We should have traded up for Kellen Winslow instead of a WR that isn't on the field.
