  1. Washington will trade up to take Bradford. St Louis would rather trade down, and has tenuous ownership that doesn't want to pay absurd money to #1 pick
  2. If Clausen is on the board at 9, Buddy Nix will sprint to the table and put his name in. Mel Kiper has Clausen #4 on his board ahead of Bradford.
  3. I recently started looking at the other boards. I didn't notice much difference
  4. The dolphins are trying to move Smiley. He would be a great pickup provided we don't have to give up much. Wood may start season on PUP list and we could use depth on O line.
  5. to get released or traded. If he demands a trade publicly, it lowers his trade value
  6. I agree with you. I think his media statements are just posturing. Hopefully we can get a draft pick for him.
  7. I don't understand why he wouldn't want to be traded to a contender closer to his home in Texas. He doesn't fit in a 3-4 and we are rebuilding. New Orleans could use another DE.
  8. Northwestern has played well in back to back bowl games. Both games were lost in OT. Kafka has played very well, is intelligent, mobile, and a leader. NU offense has been among the best in the big 10 while Kafka was there. I'm not saying he is Peyton Manning, but he has developmental potential. After Bradford and Claussen, he has as much chance of success in the NFL as any other QB in this years draft.
  9. Kafka had an awesome workout yesterday, and will probably go in the fourth or fifth round. http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/03/11/qb-kafka-a...estern-pro-day/
  10. Can you post Kiper and Mcshays big board? I find their board ranking of players to be more useful than the mock.
  11. I hope we can trade down. Some team may be desperate for a WR and would trade up to take Dez Bryant. I do feel this mock draft is highly likely with both QB gone and Bulaga gone.
  12. In this mock we acquire a head case OT and a mediocre NFL QB whose only pupose is to sell tickets. If this projection arises, I hope we try to trade down in the first round.
  13. The Unrestricted FA is very limited this year due to uncapped year. We have alot of players that don't fit into our new scheme or are expendable. We could recoup draft picks or players at positions of need. We could also consider moving Marshawn, but then we would have to acquire another good RB.
  14. Shaun Rogers would be a great signing. I would trade Whitner and McCargo for him in a heartbeat. We need bigger LB and D Line to play a 3-4.
  15. Mel Kiper has Clausen at #4 on his board. Any QB is a crapshoot, and I think it is unlikely that either will compare to Mattie Ice as a pro.
  16. but I think they will both be gone before we pick. Both the Rams and Seahawks are desperate for QB and OT. Redskins will also likely take a QB.
  17. Trading down is the smart move of course we have traded up almost every year
  18. He is not ready to start, as he played on the spread at NU, but I think eventually he could be a very solid starter.
  19. I think Guy will eventually get the boot. Gailey has worked with Modrak in the past and I suspect Modrak stays. The coordinators are critically important.
  20. Mariucci is not my first choice, but if he is desperate enough to consider oakland surely the Bills are a better option.
  21. she needs breast implants
  22. I would like thompson. He may be fired after this year anyway if the pack starts losing
  23. john guy is here to interview for the gm position to fulfill the Rooney rule. Guy and Modrak will both be given courtesy interviews. Then hopefully both will be let go
  24. I have cluster headaches as well. Try hallucinogenic shrooms it worked for me. clusterbusters.com
  25. the size issue applies specifically to the WR, DE,DT and LB. Even Stroud who I like alot is a little man compared to Kris Jenkins, Ngata, Ted Washington, Pat Williams. Wilfork etc.
