Do you want Buffalo to make a trade tomorrow?
KRT88 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Want the Bills to send TH and the #55 pick to Phily for the #35, #132 (4th) and #172 (6th) picks. Using the Jimmy Jonson points system, that would place TH value at 263.6 points which is about the #65 pick in the draft. However, why I like this is because we gain two extra picks, and I love volume when it comes to the NFL draft. If that deal can't go down, I'd be willing to trade TH and the #55 pick to Tanpa for the #36, #107 and # 203 or #221 That deal also provides about the same draft value, with Henry being valued somewhere between the 63rd pick and 67 pick. Both deals seems very fair to me for both sides. -
Dominant CB or DE...which would you rather have?
KRT88 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
a truly dominate DE, like a Bruce Smith, can make your CB look awful good. Guys who pressure the QB, create mistakes by the QB, which can make your CB look dominate. Even the best CB can't look great if you have all day to throw! -
I will be more than willing to assist in any punishment

You can wake up from your dream any time now! Cause this ain't ever gonna happen.

Let's hope Washington does trade with ...

The Redskins don't have draft picks either. They have only 5 this year and now they have traded two away for next year. This years picks: #9, #25, #112, #183, #222. The ESPN rumor says CB with #9 and QB (Campbell) with #25. -
How is moving up 20 picks awful? No one going to trade just a pure 2nd rounder for TH because there is a glut in the RB market. I'd try to get Phily to throw in a late rounder, they have 2 5th rounders, 1 6th, and 3 7th rounders. The Bills would be doing just about the same thing with Cards except we would also get Shelton.

Why do so many of you seem convinced we will trade Nate? TD lets players play out there deals and walk. I like it, there's no reason to overpay for players, plus the man can play. If we have any shot at winning this comming season then our D needs to play as well as last year. I can't see that happening without Nate. If we would trade Nate, I'd much rather get a 2nd and 3rd rounder than the #9 pick. First the two picks would cost a lot less and last I checked, the are just as many first round busts as there are in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, so the picks are just as safe.

I really believe in the volume in the NFL draft. I'd love to see Henry and a pick go to Phily for 3 picks. Perhaps Henry and #55 for Phily's #35, #132 and #172

I can't see how the #9 and #25 will be equal to the #1 pick. -
The hot rumor has Washington picking a CB at #9 to replace Fred Smoot and then using the #25 pick on an offensive player, possibily even a QB. Jason Campbell is thought to be a player they very much like. This came from Chris Mortenson. Somehow I find the QB thing tad strange because I loike Ramsey, but what do I know?

Those trailers were as good as one I have seen in the past. Thanks for sharing

Denvers acquires Washington's 3rd rounder (76th) and a 1st and 4th in 2006 Washington acquires Denver's 1st rounder (25th) just announced on ESPN

This seems like a fair weather fan if I ever read one. If we don't make any trades, we suck? That seems to be your tone! Exactly what's the point to that? If the right deals aren't their then don't make them. Plus, I see no reason we should trade NC. Let him play out the year and help us win, unless someone is going to offer us something grade and I haven't read a "real" rumors regarding this.

Criag Ochs, I watched this kid player at Montana and I was rather impressed. I know he isn't the biggest, 6-1 3/4 and 218, and he had some concussion problems as a freshmen but I liked his lively arm, leadership and competitiveness. Where is projected to go, 5th, 6th, 7th round? Or is he more likely to be undrafted? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

These are not rumors but ideas. Feel free to shoot them down nut what I'd like is for us to obtain as many picks as possible. If Phily wants TH here's an idea: Buffalo trades TH and 5th (156) for Phily trades 2nd (63), 5th (167) and 6th (211) If Tampa wants TH here's another idea: Buffalo trade TH and 5th (156) for Tampa trades 2nd (36) and 6th (178) Getting high draft picks isn't as important as picking up additional picks in those key 3rd through 6th rounds. There's always lots of value with those picks. I'd even be willing to take 3rd round picks 71st from Tampa or 77th from Phily, if we can get a couple of extra 5th, 6th, 7th rounders in their as well. Phily has 13 picks and Tampa has 12, so they can afford to deal two or three of them for a player and a pick.

Clements for a #9? Take it TD!!!!!!!!
KRT88 replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just hate these rumors. This ain't gonna happen and nor should it. Why pay a guy that type of money when according to most experts, there's hardly different in the grades 1-20? Just sit back and wait. I'd rather acquire extra 3rd, 4th and 5th round picks than one high #1. -
Best Buy has man arrested for paying with $2 bills
KRT88 replied to Fezmid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotta agree with you here. If I ran Best Buy, I'd be offering this guy a new set of kitchen appliances to make this go away. -
you did the right thing! You shouldn't quit. Who else will teach them what is right?

He also wasted a 1st rounder on Bledsoe. Though the trade did dramtically increase interest in the team.

I was in the stands on the Houston sideline, 12th row, right around the scoreboard end goalline. The Bills ended up scoriung 4 TD's in front of us! My father bitched and whined all morning that the game wasn't going to be on TV so finally I said get your things, we'll go. We went up and bought tickets from some guy. I remember because he tried to switch tickets on me and give me something in the upper deck. I truly wanted to leave at halftime but dad talked me out it! Good thing because I would never have lived it down.

Now Clayton (per AZ board) says Henry trade will
KRT88 replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why no way? If no one wants Henry but them you say we just keep him? What the benefit in that? If they won't swap picks, they won't swap picks. Both teams need to make the deal otherwise everyone loses when the players get released. We need a LT, I say make the deal and cut Teague. No point in paying a guy 4 million to be average center. We could pay Tucker to be that. -
ah no, when you get cut in June, you don't have a chance to getting pricky with what you want. Gettinga job for the season is the top priority.
-
Both Arizona and Buffalo face the same problem. Both have players they want to move and their appears to be only one taker. Shelton and Henry need to be moved but if they aren't both could be cut. Running backs are easier to find than other positions and Arizona may have a chance to grab an awful good one in this years draft. Why overpay for Henry when everyone knows, your the only one that wants him? If the Cards don't draft a RB in round one then I think a trade between the two will be made but if they do, we are stuck and we better hope the Cards cut Shelton or we'll be in some serious poo poo. From The Cards side, they'd likely pay less for Henry and they have a better idea what they are getting than if they drafted, say Cederic Benson. However, is the saving worth giving up 12 spots in the draft? For me it wouldn't be, I'd tell the Bills take the Shelton for Henry deal straight up or we'll look elsewhere. The Cards have options and we don't at LT, that's the big problem for TD and us.

If I were the 49ers, I'd being tring to get Rivers and swapping first rounders, plus maybe throwing another draft pick in later. 1st overall and another pick (maybe a 3rd) for Rivers & 12th overall
