Just finished reading an article where it looks like the Bills ended up with 3 6th round picks for the 2024 draft....is that article right? I don't recall any of thsoe trades
Updating the traded picks in the 2024 NFL draft after the trade deadline (yahoo.com)
Hate to pick against the Bills but this is a bad match-up on both O and D for the Bills. Bengals 27 Bills 13..almost a repeat of the playoffs. At least the Sabres are starting to win so there is some solace in being a Buff sports fan.
well no jet lag or travel cocnerns this time but it is the Bills; maybe traveling from thier homes to the stadium is simply too taxing.. Will go one of two ways Bills crush the Bucs say 38-10 or the Bucs win a close one in a low scoring affair 20-17. My guess is the Bills actually pull this one out.
I think that 4 hr travel back east after going abck and forth across the pond accenuated the jet lag problem..hopefully the trip back to Buffalo from Boston doesn't add to the problem.
I know I am oversimplyfying things a bit but I see the Bills taking one of three paths going forward
1. Stay the course, the ship will right itself as some of the injured players like Oliver will be back soon.
2. Make a major trade at the deadline to fix the more signficant holes; meaning giving up one or two high round draft picks.
3. Recognize the current make-up of this team including the cap problems prevent this team from going all the way. Thus one needs to think do they go for a 2, 3 or even 4 year plan where they trade or cut pieces that won't be here and try and load up on draft picks.
Included in any of the above would be some coaching changes but outside of the O coordinator I don't see coaching changes altering the fundamental problems with this team.
extremely worried about the travel lag affect going east from Buff to new England, then there are all those injuries, the Bills O can't seem to get on the same page and now Bass seems to be failing: Bills 30 Pats 7
well they probably have some form of jet lag coming back across the pond, mucho injuries to key players, the players missed Octoberfest, transition playing on cement to turf, and simply overconfident so Bills 38 Gmen 17
This game should tell a lot about the Bills (and Allen's ) mentality. Expect the Bills to win by somewhere between 7 and 10 pts, so lets say 30-20 Buffalo over the Raiders. However, if Jacobs has a really good day and Allen reverts to the Allen we witnessed in the Jets game, Raiders will probably squeak this out 24 to 23.
