  1. I am almost never optimistic when it comes to the Bills and Sabres but I think the Bills blow them out..next week a different story Bills 38 Colts 10
  2. I live in Maine which is essentially Pat's country and everything about them and their fans is intolerable..my dentist kept making some of the weirdest arguments about deflategate...probably too much nitrous when I lived in San Diego it was a different story-nice fans, the sports announcing guys had a fairly balanced view..easy to root for them unless it was going to hurt the Bills-thank god it never came to that
  3. well if it wasn't for the Bills and Sabres I would not be a 65 year old that looks like a 100 year old with virtually no liver left
  4. seems like the Watkins deal all over again-great player but premature (no QB) - w/o an O line this will be a fail having said that the only hope is that the Bills feel Marone really screwed up the O line and they really aren't as bad as they appeared in 2014. If that's the case and they put together even a mediocre line then its a good deal for the Bills who want to win now
  5. I think they should use real bullets and make it kind of a hunger games theme...pick some snotty `18-21 year olds from town in WNY and have them draw straws to see who is Billy the Buffalo for the home game. Then they get to run the length of the field while being chased by Buff Bill and if they get to the other end without dying they get season tickets for a life time. If they die then their relatives get Sabres tickets for a lifetime.
  6. I would want to know the coaches answer to the following dilemma. You are in jail suspected of a robbery. The DA approaches you to offer a deal - he tells you he has your accomplice in an adjacent cell. He indicates that if one of you confesses and the other does not the confessor only gets a two year sentence but the non-confessor gets ten years. If you both confess each of you will get eight years. If you both refuse to confess each of you will receive 5 years. What would you do?
  7. I know everyone is afraid of losing Schwartz but his tenure in Detroit shows he is simply not ready to be a head coach. Love his attitude/push for players to play a hard hitting D but I just don't see him being the answer. I am in the Hue Jackson camp but will be satisfied with anyone who can actually get the Bills a decent OL and OC coaches.
  8. I love the Patriots injury list - like almost everyone on the team..just incredible how they are able to win with all those wounded personnel
  9. Pats 42 Bills 10...sad way to end season..need some major coaching changes in off -season but don't think that is going to happen I just can't see how the Bills can keep it close with the O they have..the Pats O will definitely score at least three TDs and I don't see the Bills scoring any until garbage time in the 4th..seriously I wish I could be more positive but just can't be with this team and coaching staff
  10. I would have like to have voted neither and had wished the Bills either stayed in their draft position or traded back to later in the first round and taken Beckham but hindsight is always 20-20. Whatever now - Watkins is a great talent handicapped by mediocre QBing. With no reasonable choices at QB for next year the Bills have to fix that O line in order to make a playoff run in 2015.
  11. Bills 20 Pack 16...just enough to keep hope alive...lots of turn-overs by the Pack IF the Bills go down badly in this one you know Marrone has lost the team
  12. Jets 24 Bills 9 too bad they wasted a really good defense this season
  13. the beauty of only be able to listen to the game on radio is one doesn't get to see the sausage being made only the final product..glad it wasn't carried here in Moose Land
  14. It wouldn't be Reich as he'll stick it out in San Diego as its next year when the Chargers will be serious contenders to make the Superbowl. Pegula will stick with Marrone and Whaley as he's got nothing to lose doing so. If they really are bad at least we'll have top 2016 pick. The older players, that are any good, will no longer be playing at their peak ability and others will have moved on letting their contracts expire so it will be a complete re-start much like the Sabres.
  15. I agree that the Vikes should be a win but it wouldn't surprise me that the Bills simply fall off the end of the earth after that beating by the Pats. I can't shake the idea that our coaching is simply bad as we seem to have a lot of very good players. The best example came from the Pats game where their offensive line was hurting to begin with, lose a player mid game, make adjustments, and seem to get better as the game proceeds. Our OL simply was bad from start to finish...I know we have the two rookie excuse but it never seems to impact the well coached teams as much as the Bills. I expect we will split the next two games and be 4-4 at the midpoint. Better than I expected (3-5 was my prediction). While everyone pointed to the Pat's game as critical its these next two that will really decide the season. Two wins and they simply need to go 4-4 to show they can be a contender although not a playoff team. Lose the next two and its onto 2016 when we'll have a 1st round draft pick and a new coaching staff. Pegula will stick with these guys one more year and then jettison them at the end of the 2015 season.
  16. The coaching is simply not good enough. The Bills will lose one of the next two. The team talent is better than the record but the coaching is holding them back. if the Bills are 4-4 then that would be great but 3-5 seems more likely
  17. I had the Bill's pegged at 6-10 for this year..their coaching is the biggest problem after the QB. Having said that they could go 8-8 and win the AFC East so its doable..not likely with these coaches but there is always that sliver of hope.
