Dolphins @ Bills - 2nd half game thread
entropyrules replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I liked it better when Buffalo was always the underdog -
that is going to be one tough schedule..the Commanders and Jacksonville are not as bad as their record indicate and the raiders and broncos can only get better than they werethis year. and what gives with always having to go to KC and Cinci to play them!!!

Did anyone else think that National Anthem was god awful? I probably shouldn't crique as my singing is even worse but that really hurt. -

NFL Resolution to Adjust the AFC Playoffs- Poll

I thought of the three teams the Bengals got screwed the most and Kansas City which Lost to both the Bils and Bengals made out like a bandit -
After running the simulator multiple times I finally lost my coin into a crack in the floor so without any real probabilities to go by my best guess is 97.42% Bills win going away 38-10. However there is a 2.57% chance the Pats win as the Bills come out too tight trying to win one for Hamlin and Allen throws into double coverage multiple times and gets picked and Belecheats ground game plan actually works so the Pats win 17-14. There is still a 0.01% chance that either an Alien invasion occurs or an asteroid hits the earth and the game is not played; the NFL does not meet to decide if the game can be played later.

Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.
entropyrules replied to Locomark's topic in The Stadium Wall
i thought the suggestion (not sure who said that) of them making it an eight team playoff was a good start. Then if Cinci, Buff or KC, after the first round have to play each other make them play at a neutral site - either Chicage or Detroit as both are within reasonable (not perfect) travel distance for the respective fan bases. -
Sabres loss almost guarantees a Bills win tonite - any time the Sabres win just before a Bills game the Bills seem to s**t the bed....of course with both teams on a roll those stats are probably going the way of the dodo

can somone explain why the Bills had so much trouble with the Jets D but Seattle is slicing through them with ease..i know it sounds like a nit but makes it easy for Seattle

although that may take care of the lack of franchise QBs by getting them killed some time during the season -

a bit late to comment but did any of you get the feeling Settle was about to run the wrong way with that recovered fumble -
no apologies necessary-I should have looked it up before posting - in another reply I had looked up that draft and saw the Evans pick came before the Bills turn..it doesn't really matter as the Bills front office and coaches at the time would have runied whomever we drafted
-
agreed..its all speculation - the people running the Bills at that time and the coaches they hired were a disaster so not sure keeping the 1st and 5th would have made a difference .. I went and looked at the 2014 draft (they are listed as the 2014 darft but i thought it was 2015 also) and Evans was taken 8th so if the Bills stood pat he wouldn't have been available. That 9th pick was Gilbert a CB and the 5th they traded was used to draft an O lineman named Pamphile. I've got way too much time on my hand - need to get back to doing esoteric radiological calculations ot if nothing else pestering my spousal unit.
-
After watching the Bucs yesterday i couldn't help but think if the Bills had not traded up for Watkins and instead had taken Evans would it have made a difference. Probably not, I suppose, given that EJ would have gotten Evans killed or he would have left after his contract was up. But it still is a great thought experiment especially after a few beers.

Love the dolphins forum - Bills won because of the refs?
entropyrules replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
not so sure of that - the current antiscience portion of the US may dispute "water is wet." Probaly not much to say on grass is green as there is none in a trailer park. -
Yep that game will go a long way in determining how far the Bills progress through the playoffs. If they lose its not the end of the world but makes their path to the superbowl a bit harder
