  1. Good piece in The Athletic by Graham on Farwell.
  2. True. I've read somewhere that Milano wants to be here for his career, so I think they could keep him for < $10m. As I mentioned, I think Feliciano is a priority given that he is a poster boy for "the process," and he can play all three interior positions well. Signing Milano and Feliciano would leave Williams out of the mix, unless they made some other surprising move? I think OL is where the most difficult decisions will be. I think Boettger has solidified the LG spot. Ethan-iP suggested Morse as a possible casualty, especially given his concussion history. Would they let Morse go and put Feliciano at C? Do they think Ford can play RT? Two possible combos: 1) Dawkins, Boettger, Morse, Feliciano, Ford; or 2) Dawkins, Boettger, Feliciano, Ford, Williams.....? These questions will have to be addressed after they win the Super Bowl...
  3. Beane has it set up nicely, as a ton of $ is coming off the books in 2022. They shouldn't have any problems signing Allen and Edmunds to long-term contracts.
  4. Star's cap hit in 2021 is $7.6 mil, with almost $12 mil in dead cap if he's cut--cutting him puts them in a worse cap situation. Maybe they can get him to retire...Beane is going to earn his contract this year. Btw, I think the first person the Bills re-sign is Feliciano, as the Bills put a high premium on process guys.
  5. Yeah, they really won't have the cap room to make any serious external signings. OF their UFAs, I think they re-sign Feliciano, Milano, McKenzie, and Marlowe. On the margin are Roberts, Barkley, and Taiwan Jones. While I'd like to have Williams back, I don't think they can afford him...
  6. I'm sure he's been on the hot seat ever since their beat down by Allen and the Bills, "You picked Chubb over Allen!!!?"
  7. Bring on the Colts baby!
  8. Bills have a chance to lead the league in points at 501. The Pack needs > 27 to take #1.
  9. For what it's worth, that score gives Bills an overall scoring average of 30 ppg....
  10. I expected it to be a video of the moment the Bills broke the 17-year playoff drought, but this will do just fine.... Happy New Year! Go Bills!
  11. I think the optimal scenario is a Bills win no matter what. I wouldn't trust the Browns to win this week, especially with their Covid issues now. A Bills win guarantees they face either the Colts if the Browns win or the Fins again if Pitt wins. A Bills win also means Ravens and Titans face off, which I"d like to see as well. Of course, this assumes Colts, Ravens, and Titans all win, which I think is a very, very high probability...
  12. A nitpick. While Beane most likely would've done some trading, I think the comparison should be who was actually taken with the 56th pick, which was CB Duke Dawson. Regardless, they could've taken Jalen Ramsey and the Bills still win the trade. A franchise QB is priceless, especially one whose personality matches the city in which he plays...
  13. Ever since he was benched, it seems Morse has been playing much more physical... https://twitter.com/BaldyNFL/status/1343937102946439169?s=20
  14. He's really coming along. I don't know who the guard was on that play, but he blew by him. I'm going to try and watch the game replay on msg and key on his play. He just might be the answer when Jerry retires.
  15. I'm less concerned about that number than how many rings he'll have... 😎
  16. So far, just local ads. It is one of those irksome things that Mayfield gets a national slot with Progressive without proving a dam thing yet....
  17. Relatedly, I don't think I heard them mention Smoke's name once last night. Talk about a Digg....all the talk was about a Digg....
  18. You have to admit, Mayfield is significantly better in commercials than Allen...
  19. Beane doing his Wawrow imitation...?
  20. I think the best scenario is Bills win out, Titans lose this week, Ravens win out, and Colts lose to Pitt this week. The Bills are #2 and face Colts #7. Titans would be #4, and if they beat KC, then the Bills could have home field throughout (for what it's worth this year). UPdating this scenario: Bills win out and keep #2 Pitt wins out (beating Colts and Browns) and keep #3 Titans lose to Pack and get #4 seed Ravens winning out gives them #5 in this scenario Browns #6 Colts #7 Round 1: Colts @ Bills Browns @ Steelers Ravens @ Titans Round 2 KC gets winner of Ravens-Titans (unless Browns win) Bills get Steelers (if Browns win, then they get winner of Ravens-Titans) The way the Steelers look, it's unlikely they win out; however, if they beat Colts and lose to Browns, then the Browns and Ravens switch positions, so Bills still get Colts in R1.
  21. If you're afraid to play the Ravens (or Titans) in R1, another solution is for the Colts to lose to Pitt and the Bills win out (with a few other assumptions of course). The Ravens have the head-to-head with the Colts. Personally, while it might be good to rest some players in week 17, it's NEVER a good idea to try for an outcome hoping for a more "favorable" match up. That simply says you're not good enough. Btw, in this scenario, I've also got the Titans as the 4th seed (they lose this week), and I think they can certainly win in KC, which would give the Bills the possibility of home field throughout...that would be the optimal scenario, for me at least.
  22. That gets my vote too. First name I thought of when I read the title of the thread.
  23. My response in a similar thread not too long ago, I think he wants to help bring the Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo. Hopefully, it's this year. If so, he deserves his shot. If not, I would think he'd be very choosy about the situation, not just the QB in place, but the GM and ownership.
  24. As I told a friend from Cleveland, your QB from the 2017 class is the best.......at commercials......
