Buffalo Bills rookies report to training camp today!
TPS replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
One could say Knox broke out last year, especially considering all of the mouths to feed on that offense. -
Awesome plan! What area is your house in? Hopefully walking distance to a few bars... Biking is a good recommendation. We do a bike-brewery ride several times per year in the fall--great time to ride. There are a lot of really good rides in the area, my favorite (outside of the brewery rides) is the ride along Niagara river up to North Tonawanda. Check for all of the festivals too. Here's a link to many, but not all. https://stepoutbuffalo.com/festivals/ (Chicken wing festival is first weekend in Sept.) BuffaloRising website is a good source for all things Buffalo: https://www.buffalorising.com/ Cheers, TPS

Thanks for that. Wondering if he's started a similar run against Belichick...hehehe...

This is such a poor comparison, focusing on yards only as if the team's offense and qb don't matter. In 2019, Crowder had more yards than Beasley and was the leading receiver on a team that was dead last in offensive ranking. In 2020, While Beasley had a career year on the #2 O with Diggs as the #1 WR, Crowder was once again the leading receiver on a team ranked dead last in O with no true #1 WR. Certainly his durability is questionable relative to Beasley, but statistically there is very little difference between the two.
-
My 7 as well. Has Hodgins ever made it out of camp healthy?
-
You're comparing very different Os and QBs with Crowder and Beasley over their past 3-4 years and assigning the "decline" to Crowder vs the Jets' O as a whole--they ranked at the bottom in 2 of the last 3 years. If anything, the stats suggest Crowder's stats will be even better playing with Allen and the Bills. While Davis was here, it's clear that he will upgrade the #2 position with Sanders gone. Davis and Diggs will be > Sanders and Diggs from last year. As for covid, having the vaccine does not prevent you from getting it, so that's not really a meaningful argument for this year... As I stated in (..) outside of the O-line, the O is better than last year, so I am not disagreeing with you there.
-
Yeah, that Beasley - Crowder comparison was definitely cherry picked using last year's numbers only. Crowder's career numbers are better than Beasley's. As for Sanders-Davis, they replaced a declining talent with a rising star. The (non O-line) offensive talent is better this year than last year, and the depth is improved.

Look at how many solid players we drafted in 2018 besides JA
TPS replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you read the linked article from the OP it's about PFF re-grading the 2018 draft. It starts out by saying they would've given it an A+ for Josh Allen alone. Since it's about re-grading that draft, of course you look at all players drafted, regardless of where they are now. -
I don't if this shows for everyone, but there is a warning for the video about sensitive content. I wonder if it's directed at Pats' fans...? hehehe

I think Greg Rousseau becomes an elite pass rusher in 2022
TPS replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, they don't need big numbers with their rotation. I think they'll have at least 2 other DEs with 5-7 sacks, excluding Von (8-9), and maybe 3 DTs. They could be a lot like Minnesota last year, no one with double-digit sacks, but second in the league overall. -
Shakir, what a great dude. Like listening to him.
-
He's got months to work on it. He'll be fine...
-
Do you mean O-line, skill players, or just in general? To this untrained eye, it looks as if they've diversified what the O is capable of offering each week by strengthening the passing attack in the backfield and TE positions, adding Cook and Howard. WR has a slight difference in the strengths that Crowder and Beasley offer, but, other than that, it's kind of a wash (possibly better with Davis getting more snaps?). No real upgrades/changes at OL, so wondering if that's what you mean?

I appreciate the work and like your thread title. I much prefer to read these types of threads than something Talley's wife said....

My favorite stuff they put out, the post-draft inside looks! Thanks.

I believe they met with Dono West too. Time for an IOL pick. -
Of course not, but that's what drove him to make the move--when need matches up with BPA (as he also said in his presser).
