2025 Annual Joe Marino Bills Mock Offseason
TPS replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not much of a plan at Safety? Is he going with Rapp and Bishop and ... a rookie 3rd rounder? -
Woody, please, please hire Rex.
-
Check the main game thread, it’s posted.
-
They have Van Demark and Grable at OT, so they needed another G as they only have Anderson.
-
Clapp was predictable, but I did not expect Toohill.
-
You won't get any disagreement on that last opinion. When I look at next year's need, I always come away thinking Beane has done a very good job of setting up a solid 2-year SB run. The only serious issue on O is keeping/replacing Cooper (IMO). On D, they'll have to figure out what to do with Rasul's spot, but mostly the issue is depth at all positions. [I'll ignore any questions about Von for now, as he is on the roster.]
-
Thanks. I've thought about this possibility too, and as I started thinking a bit more about the question, I thought it would be an interesting one to post for others' thoughts. It most likely comes down to who the key starters (and those who need the extra rest recovering from injuries) they will sit, and if they have enough depth to get through this game behind those they sit.
-
Davidson was elevated three times and I don't believe he had to clear waivers to get back on the PS, but I'm not certain?
-
Given they will rest some key starters, and they can only bring two up from the PS, who do you think they will bring up this last week? The two positions I think they need more than others: 1. QB: bring White up to backup Trubisky, as I don't think you want JA going back in if Trubisky got hurt. 2. WR: with only 5 on the 53, this is a strong possibility too, as you don't want Cooper and Shakir risking injury. Hamler maybe? That said, the person I'd like to see them bring up is Cine, as I'd like to see what he can do.

Joe Brady has created the NFL version of "Total Football" - it's historic

Majority, yes; but Josh still needs someone to rein him in sometimes—trying to do too much himself, or taking the risky pass over the gimme. As many of us have said for years, the only one who can beat Josh Allen is Josh Allen. -
Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs - Can the Bills run through this gauntlet.
TPS replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
Colts can make it if they win out (NYG and Jax), Denver and/or LAC lose out. Denver plays Cinc and KC, so quite possible; LAC plays Pats and Raiders, so not likely. Indy needs a 3 (or more) team tie at 9-8, which would most likely come from Denver losing out, Cinc winning out, or Miami winning out. Indy wins the tiebreaker in any scenario with 3 or more teams at 9-8. Bengals can only get in if they win out, Colts and Miami each lose one more, and Denver loses out. KC plays at Denver in the last week, and they will most likely play their backups, but on any given Sunday... -

Of course they can. The key is that the Bills will be at home against the Ravens. They have and can beat the Chiefs again. It's the playoffs though, and anything can happen, but the answer is absolutely they can. It could be Indy in round 1, since they are going to run the table. The Broncos will only get in if the Chiefs play backups, and even then the Chiefs might want to ruin their party. -
No one is talking about... Javon Solomon

Hmmm…this thread took a turn that really emphasizes its title. -

He's a rookie from a small school. The fact that he's actually getting playing time is a good indication of his potential. -

Looking forward to seeing him get more playing time in these last 3 games. He looked good in his limited reps against the Lions and should've had a sack on Goff who somehow spun out of it. -
12/15/24 Week 15 Bills @ Lions Game day Thread

He's in the top 10 for QB hits (19) and top 5 for tackles for loss (15). -
It's looking like both Kincaid and Coleman will be out again today...
TPS replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this is Davidson’s third call-up from the PS, so he’s done unless activated to the 53. Basically guarantees Kincaid is back next week for Lions. -
Settle is actually having a career year with Houston—5 sacks to date. Too bad we didn’t get this version of him.
-
I did not get to watch the game. Question: Just watched the “mini movie” and early on Allen gets a couple tough yards for a first. Warner comes in as he’s going down and makes helmet to helmet contact. In fact, Josh’s head snaps back slightly. I don’t believe there was a flag for this. Is that correct? thanks
-
I’m always leery of people saying this after the fact, but you have bonifides—just looked at the thread from when Beane Re-Signed him 👍👍
-
Actually, I just remembered that AJE only got a 2-year deal, so there is a need.
-
I would not discount Javon Solomon as the pass rush specialist to replace Von.

11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread
TPS replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just saw the highlights on NBC, and on that last INT I swear it looks like the Chiefs OL is pulling Groot by the facemask. Going to see if I can get that clip. Ok, just saw it on BB.com and it's his jersey.
