Bills/Raiders second half game thread
Tampa Bob replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is Marrone even watching this !@#$ing game? Orton can play for hours today and he will not be able to score a td (or even get a first for that matter). Orton needs to come out. It is so !@#$ing obvious. What is wrong with this coaching staff? -

Ummm. We have Fred jackson. How could you say that? He has more heart by himself than any other team in the league. -

I can't take this anymore. Do the bills even want to make the playoffs? They are so uninterested in this game that it doesn't even look like they are trying to win. Classic bills' mentality with a lot on the line. We have seen this a million times. We played that entire damn division this way. Pathetic showing. No way we pull it together with orton. He is so terrible. He makes it look so hard to complete simple passes. -

what are chances Hughes gives Bills hometown discount ??
Tampa Bob replied to RCOHEN13's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is hilarious. Take less pay: 1. From a team in NY with NY state taxes 2. From a team that hasn't made the playoffs in soon to be 15 years 3. From a team with a childish head coach who has already benched him in a huge game and messes with careers to prove points 4. To live in Buffalo longer than he has to 5. To play for a good defense that will probably lose another defensive coordinator this tear or next Hmmm. It doesn'the look too good for the hometown discount. The good news is that he will probably stay for a bunch of money though! -
Could Marrone actually be a DEFENSIVE minded coach?
Tampa Bob replied to TheFunPolice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If our coach thinks that special teams are more important than offense, he should have been fired the second he was done with that interview. -

Can we stop trying to force feed jackson. He really is just terrible now. He can't break any tackles and is just soooo slow. But he is a great guy and world class leader...maybe the best in the nfl...ever. -
What if Mike Williams becomes a patriot?

Doesn't everyone know our playbook? -
It's funny because we might be the only team in the league with 2 qbs to slide short of the sticks in such pathetic fashion. Ej did the exact same thing but it was way worse because he is young, athletic and he had much more room. Our qbs are both either huge wussies or they have been instructed to get down and not risk an injury or turnover. I wouldn't be surprised with either scenario. I haven't seen many plays like orton's slide or like ej's in my entire life. If the coach is driving that, I could see why they would listen. The wrath of Doug is clearly pretty vicious...even trading for a player to continue to punish him from something he did when he was 19. Sheesh...that dude is tough.

Anyone else think Fred should only be a 3rd down back?
Tampa Bob replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just for the record, expect a 2 week suspension. Anytime I have said something not wonderful about him, I get a suspension. That being said, he is amazing and he is the heart and soul of our team. He may be the slowest and one of the least productive starting running backs in the league, but we wouldn't be where we are today without him. Butterball, is that OK or should be expecting another suspension? -
Doug Marrone: Jerry Hughes Wasn't Disciplined by Me
Tampa Bob replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't see the penalty, but sometimes that is the tradeoff of having a player that plays like jerry. He plays with a ton of energy and that is going to carry over after the play sometimes. I personally think it is a great idea to bench a guy in the biggest game of the season who happens to be one of our best players and a looming free agent. It creates nice leverage for the bills. -
Doug Marrone: Jerry Hughes Wasn't Disciplined by Me
Tampa Bob replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't stand quotes like that. As if he really didn't know why one of our best players wasn't playing. Do our coaches always have to pretend like they are so focused that they are unaware of basic crap that is going on? It's like when Gailey or jauron (can't recall which) used to pretend like they didn't know who they played next. It just makes them look foolish when they don't know what is going on. -
I disagree. He is the heart and soul of this team and a straight beast. There are no signs of him slowing down. He has always been unbelievably slow. The reason why Fred is so special is because the magic that he performs on the field has been done despite his incredible slowness. This is the reason why he will play until he is 40. He doesn't have any speed to lose.

Ticket Details for game in Detroit
Tampa Bob replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good stuff. People from buffalo are making fun of detroit. Lol. -
Maybe we would be more classy, but if so, it would be because we feel so bad for a pathetic franchise that has sucked so bad for so long that it actually carried a coach off the field after beating the freaking lions. Remember when the lions were the freaking lions and were the joke of the NFL for ever? I mean...come on! That made us look so pathetic. Yay! We beat the only team with a worse history than us!
-
For example? Was it when the bills were 5-3 and still not taken seriously as a playoff contender? How about when they were 5-4 and had a chance to erase the prior week's dud of a game? Ooh ooh ooh...How about when they were 2-1 and played their old starting qb who commented on how bad he wanted to beat us. Oh...I know. It was when the bills had a chance to show up against Tom Brady for the 3rd time in his entire, long career to prove that this team was different...that it was ready to stop being tom's B word. Sorry for the rant, but I keep seeing people post about how this team is different...like we are have a new mentality or something. Our defense is elite...qb so and so will be lucky to finish a game against us, we own miami, all we have to do is beat these easy teams before the difficult stretch, and apparently now we play well when we have a chip on our shoulder. The reality is that we cave when the going gets tough. We always have and we always will until something major changes. Doesn't it really bother anybody that dick jauron continues to be our glory years even though we now have all this talent that I keep hearing about? We have yet to reach his glorious 7-9 records and it is highly likely that we don't again this year.
-
Maybe it just has to do with the fact that the bills are just natural losers. They flirted with being good, but when they had two great opportunities to make the leap to a real playoff contender, they predictably came out flat and fell back into their comfort zone.

Manziel's first NFL start against the Bills?
Tampa Bob replied to youngjebrey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This would be considered a big game by the national media if Johnny starts. Considering the bills' knack for stepping up big when a lot of people are watching, I am certain that we would destroy the browns. After all, we have had their number over the last several years. -
Who will do the best on Sunday's game offensively?
Tampa Bob replied to Joshua25's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mike williams. -
If you really believe this, be prepared to be totally disappointed. What about this group of players and coaching staff gives you the impression that they are up for answering the bell? This is and has been maybe the softest team mentally in the NFL for years. They have no pride, no passion, no fire, etc. They are right where they want to be because it is their comfort zone. When was the last time that the bills beat a truly premier team that was playing at the top of their game? I can't think of a time. Guess what...they have to do that 3 times to get to the playoffs.

Marrone might be the worst coach of all of our terrible coaches. I think he has some maturity issues. They show him on the sideline and the guy is moping. No wonder we have no energy. I expected nothing more than what we got yesterday. The whole Mike Williams thing is strange. I am starting to think that he has some personal vendetta against him for whatever he did in college to get on marrone's bad side. It seems like he traded for him just to sit his ass on the bench. How can a guy who has been so productive in his career not be good enough to step on the field in this pathetic offense?

Bills at Dolphins TNF - 2nd Half Game Thread
Tampa Bob replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don'the even know why I like this team. They show Marrone on the sideline - moping, players after every missed opportunity - moping all half. Maybe instead of feeling sorry for themselves, they should just !@#$ing play harder. Now Miami is going to march down the field to put this game away. At least the team can all mope together on their way back to buffalo. -

Did the bills even want to play tonight? Playoff hopes on the line and I would think we would get a little better than this. Oh well...losing is easier than winning. -

God this team is pathetic. I could see us finishing 6-10 or 7-9 at best.
