  1. If everyone on the team doesn't leave it on the field every time, there is a problem. Nobody can say that cj doesn't work just as hard or put in just as much effort. Fred is a very hard worker and his story is great. There is just this myth that has been built up that fred is the hardest working player the bills have ever seen and the best leader. He has never seen better than 7-9 and because of where he came from people are devaluing the effort the other players put in and assuming they don't work as hard because they had an easier road to the nfl because they have more natural talent. There are lots of guys on this very team that I believe work just as hard as fred. All of the williams' for example. I don't believe that fred works any harder than cj or even manuel. Watkins probably works pretty damn hard considering his pedigree. What about wood or woods? I can go on. I actually think we have had a pretty committed group for a while. The problem is that for many years, they just haven't been good enough...a lot of average players...just like fred. Maybe this is the year they change that and I don't hate fred. He is just over rated...by a lot.
  2. Yes...he got all the goal line carries.
  3. Let's not pretend he has ever had a really good season. He barely cracked 1,000 yards one time in his career. He has had a few nice runs at key points in his career. Today was one of them. But to comment on being lucky...he was lucky to get that big of a hole. He basically ran straight through a huge hole, but he finished strong which was important because we are the bills and every yard counts in that situation because we have had some tough heart breakers in recent years. CJ probably scores on the same run.
  4. Great game for woods Wish he got more opportunities because I liked his aggressiveness today.
  5. I'm glad I could make you laugh! Do you agree that he was moving in slow motion during 90% of the game? He looked like molina running out a grounder for the rays for most of the game. Even that big run at the end seemed to take forever...looked like 5.0 40 to me. The stiff arm was the bomb though. I always respect a good stiff arm.
  6. I'm neither. He is usually very boring...including today before that run. He had a huge whole and finished strong with a nice stiff arm. I gave him credit when it was due. What's the issue?
  7. Corey had a hell of a game! I expected him to be a solid vet, but I thought he was awesome today!
  8. As much as I cant stand jackson and his slow, boring runs...that was a hell of a stiff arm to get the bills in position to win. I still think he is very over rated, but if he can make a play like that every once and a while in a critical spot, he still has a little value.
  9. Oooh! And woods with another nice play!
  10. Nice. 1st and 20 and we hand it off to the slowest and oldest player on the team
  11. Is it too much to ask for the bills to get a first down on this drive?
  12. We have 2 all pro tackles? Sweet! I though we had a pro bowl tackle and a pro bowl alternate tackle
  13. Uh...because our defense isn't actually elite like all these homers think we are.
  14. If it makes you feel better to over think a simple question, go for it.
  15. Lol. Good for you for finding that! It must really bother you when people start new threads, huh? Everything will be OK that a new thread was started. Don't stress over the stupid little things on a message board...you might enjoy life a little more.
  16. The bills have had 8 months to come up something great to catch the bears off guard to start the season. How will they attack them on the first play? I say hand off to the heart and soul of buffalo up the middle for no gain.
  17. CJ would be crazy to resign here. We have refused to use him through most of his career.
  18. Fully expect the bills to pull off one of their classic completely flat, emotionless road games where playing football looks like the last place they want to be. Think bucs game last year.
  19. I think saint doug is going to surprise everybody this year. Team chemistry is at an all time high after his players have been fighting with each other throughout camp then the players learn that their very own leader thinks it is gonna take a miracle to turn their sorry butts into a winner. Think about how great and confident they must be feeling about themselves! I think this strategy is really going to pay off. I have seen it work first hand. Every time my son does something wrong, I tell him it is going to take a miracle for him not to screw something up. Works like a charm.
  20. I know, right? His post doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Did EJ make it 1.5 months without getting injured last year? It is probably more like injured by end of the month.
  21. He has until halftime on Sunday for me. It would be nice if he didn't have to always suck in the first half on the road. We need at least 1 td and have to be within 1 score. If we haven't scored and we need two scores to catch up, it will be clear that he still sucks. He is healthy, had all offseason to prepare and if we can't draw something up that they haven't seen for week one to move the ball early, I think it is going to be a long season.
  22. We can do that. Tds should be considered too and smith has almost twice as many.
  23. Well, his best season with the pats was better than fred's best season with the bills so I guess you could go either way. His career stats show that he had a better career by quite a bit.
  24. With 1 more season under his belt, antwan has 1700 more yards and 26 more rushing tds than fred. He was only with ne for 3 yrs and had an 1100 yard season while there.
